| ObjectiveThrough the measurement of body composition,grip strength and the walking speed of silicosis,to analysis the characteristics of body composition,skeletal muscle function and strength of silicosis,to discuss the correlation between silicosis and sarcopenia,to further analyze the Case data of silicosis,to discuss the influencing factors of silicosis complicated with sarcopenia.MethodsWith informed consent,113 cases of male silicosis and 68 cases of female silicosis aged 50-75 years hospitalized in the Pneumoconiosis department of Shenyang Ninth People’s Hospital were randomly selected,all of which conformed the diagnostic criteria of GBZ 70-2015 for occupational pneumoconiosis,as silicosis group.A total of 82 males and 71 females underwent physical examination during the same period,as the control group.The height and weight of the subjects were measured according to the standard of human body measurement,and the skeletal muscle,fat content and other body components of the limbs,trunk,whole body were measured with bioelectrical impedance detector.The grip strength was measured according to the ASHT standardized grip strength guidelines,and the walking speed was measured with a stopwatch.According to the Asian diagnostic criteria for sarcopenia,the control group was divided into healthy people group(51 males and 40 females),simple sarcopenia group(31 males and 31females).Silicosis group was divided into simple silicosis group(36 males and30 females),silicosis combined with sarcopenia group(77 males and 38females).At the same time,the clinical data of the course of illness,smoking,drinking and aggravation of silicosis were collected and sorted out.Body composition and other indicators were compared in pairs between the four groups.The data obtained were statistically processed by SPSS 22.0 software,and the comparison of measurement data was expressed as mean and standard deviation(`x±s),followed by t test,chi-square test and logistic regression analysis.Results1、The muscle mass,trunk muscle mass and limb muscle mass of the male silicosis combined with sarcopenia group all decreased compared with the healthy people group,the simple sarcopenia group and the simple silicosis group(P<0.05).The muscle mass of the female silicosis combined with sarcopenia group was lower than that of the healthy people group and the simple silicosis group(P<0.05).2、The body fat,trunk fat and limb fat in the male and female silicosis with sarcopenia group was lower than that in the healthy people group(P<0.05).3、The presumptional bone mass,body water,protein,intracellular and extracellular fluid of the male and female silicosis combined with sarcopenia group were lower than those of the healthy people group and the silicosis group(P<0.05).4、Grip strength,number of steps,SMI and ASM in the male and female silicosis combined with sarcopenia group were lower than those in the healthy people group and the silicosis group(P<0.05).5、Male silicosis with sarcopenia group disease incidence(68.14%)is significantly higher than the control group(37.80%),the difference was statistically significant(х~2=13.168,P<0.05);Female silicosis with sarcopenia group disease incidence(55.88%)is significantly higher than the control group(43.66%),difference was statistically significant(х~2=19.623,P<0.05).6、Associated risk factors for sarcopenia in silicosis:age,disease course,long-term smoking history were associated risk factors for sarcopenia in silicosis(P<0.05).Conclusions1、Silicosis complicated with sarcopenia have different degrees of weight loss.While the muscle content decreases,the fat content,protein and body water also decrease.2、Silicosis are prone to be complicated with sarcopenia.Age,disease course,long-term smoking history were risk factors for sarcopenia. |
