Objective:This study describes the status quo of social support,psychological capital and quality of life in patients with stoma.To analyze the relationship between social support,psychological capital and quality of life of stoma patients;To explore the main factors affecting the quality of life of patients with stoma.It provides a theoretical basis for improving the quality of life of patients with stoma and guiding the nursing work of clinical stoma.Methods:This study is a non-experimental correlation study.From February 2019 to June 2019,180 ostomy patients who met the inclusion criteria were selected from a class a tertiary hospital in weihai city by convenient sampling.The social support rating scale,the positive psychological capital questionnaire and the quality of life scale were used to measure the social support,psychological capital and quality of life of the patients.Statistical software SPSS 17.0 Chinese version was used for statistical analysis and processing.Results:(1)In this study,the total score of social support of patients with stoma was(36.14±6.75),which was at the general level.There were significant differences among patients with different occupations,living conditions,the presence of stoma complications,and whether they received chemotherapy or not(P<0.05).(2)In this study,the total score of psychological capital of patients with stoma was(134.07±12.5 8),and there were significant differences in psychological capital among patients with different educational levels,working conditions,presence of stoma complications,and whether they received chemotherapy or not,with statistical significance(P<0.05).(3)In this study,the total score of ostomy patients’ quality of life was(160.24±25.26),and there were significant differences in quality of life among patients with different occupations and whether they received chemotherapy,with statistical significance(P<0.05).(4)There was a positive correlation between social support,psychological capital and quality of life of patients with stoma.Conclusion:(1)The social support level of ostomy patients was general,and the social support of individuals,living with their spouses,patients without ostomy complications and receiving chemotherapy was higher than that of other patients.
