Objectice To screen out the types of acute side effects of radiotherapy for female patients of breast cancer by adopting their clinical medical records and combining with Pareto method, and to analyse the factors affecting the major acute side effects by review; To explore the relationship between side effects of radiotherapy for female patients of breast cancer and biochemical indicators related to nutrition by follow-up investigation;in this regard,it provides scientific basis for regulating radiotherapy technologies for patients of breast cancer and the reasonable use of clinical nutrition intervention, which helps to realize the objectives of preventing or reducing side effects of radiotherapy for patients of breast cancer, enhancing treatment effects and improving the living quality of patients.Methods(1)The review analysis is carried out for the clinical material of 979 patients of breast cancer and the acute side effects of radiotherapy for female patients of breast cancer are screened out by adopting Pareto analysis method, then single factor and binary logistic regression are used to analyze the factors affecting the acute side effects of radiotherapy for female patients of breast cancer.(2)The relevant information of 114 female patients of breast cancer and the situation of side effects during treatment are tracked and studied by follow-up,then the relation between the severity classification of acute side effects and biochemical indexes related to nutrition is analyzed.Results(1)It is revealed by Pareto analysis that the types of side effects of radiotherapy mainly include myelosuppression(881 cases)and skin injuries(654 cases),accounting 51.22%and 38.02%respectively;it is revealed by single factor analysis results that the acute myelosuppression is related to radiotherapy method(χ~2=315.133,P<0.001);the acute skin injuries are related to body mass index(t=3.687,P<0.001),age(t=4.417,P<0.001)and radiotherapy method(χ~2=41.096,P<0.001).It is revealed by the results of logistic regression analysis that the factors affecting the acute skin injuries caused by radiotherapy for female patients of breast cancer include BMI(OR(95%CI)=0.979(0.953~0.986)),age(OR(95%CI)=0.949(0.907~0.993))and radiotherapy method(OR(95%CI)=2.318(1.760~3.054))(P<0.05 on average).(2)The acute myelosuppression caused by radiotherapy for female patients of breast cancer is related to the expression of hemoglobin level(t=2.272,P=0.025),the acute skin injuries are related to operation methods(χ~2=5.596,P=0.018),radiotherapy situation(χ~2=5.597,P=0.018)and albumin level(t=-3.022,P=0.004);the albumin level is related to the severity classification of acute skin injuries(χ~2=11.843,P=0003).Moreover,in normal scope, the higher the albumin level is,the higher the severity classification of acute skin injuries will be(G=0.465,P=0.003).Conclusions(1)The acute side effects caused by radiotherapy for female patients of breast cancer mainly include myelosuppression and skin injuries. Both of the two acute side effects are related to radiotherapy methods;the higher BMI is,the older the age is,the risk for the side effect of acute skin injuries of female patients of breast cancer caused by intensity modulated radiotherapy is reduced. In clinics, the radiotherapy methods should be selected reasonably according to the situations of patients, which helps to reduce such acute side effects caused by radiotherapy.(2)The acute myelosuppression and skin injuries caused by radiotherapy for female patients of breast cancer are respectively related to hemoglobin and albumin levels as the biochemical indexes related to nutrition;the albumin level is further related to severity classification of acute skin injuries,so it is required to pay close attention to the biochemical indexes related to nutrition for patients in clinics. If necessary, the nutrition situation of patients can be improved by nutrition intervention, which reduces the side effects of radiotherapy and relieves the severity degree of acute side effects.
