| ObjectiveOn the premise of standardizing the basic clinical treatment and rehabilitation training,this subject uses combining Yuan-Luo acupoint of meridian-connection therapy to treat patients with insomnia after stroke due to Imbalance between Heart and Kidney,and compares its therapeutic effect with a control group treated with ordinary acupuncture to verify.At the same time,the experiment is to explore the related mechanism of action,with a view to promoting the application of acupuncture based on the method of combining Yuan-Luo acupoint of meridian-connection therapy to the clinical treatment of insomnia after stroke which caused by imbalance between heart and kidney.MethodsThis study was based on a parallel,randomized,and controlled protocol.68 clinical cases from the Department of Acupuncture and Rehabilitation in Guangdong Second Traditional Hospital from May 2019 to January 2020 that met the inclusion and diagnostic criteria were divided into the original according to the simple random method.There were 34 cases in the Yuan-Luo acupoint of meridian-connection group and the ordinary acupuncture group.The patients in the two groups were compared with each other based on the basic treatment of western medicine and rehabilitation training.The Yuan-Luo acupoint of meridian-connection group was treated with combining Yuan-Luo acupoint of meridian-connection therapy according to the acupuncture prescription.Only one side was given acupuncture at a time every day,followed by acupuncture in accordance with the meridian sequence,then quickly twist for 30s after De-qi and withdraw the needle.The ordinary acupuncture group was given conventional acupuncture according to the acupuncture prescription.After De-qi,needles were left for 30 minutes and then discharged.The treatment course of the two groups was once a day,6 consecutive days of treatment for 1 week,1 day of rest,and a total of 2 weeks of treatment.The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)of the two groups of patients were recorded before and after treatment,and the overall efficacy was evaluated and compared by using statistical methods.Results1.Before the initial stage of the treatment,there were no significant differences of the general information(including gender,age,course of disease,stroke type,etc.)and the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index between the Yuan-Luo acupoint of meridian-connection group and the general acupuncture group(P>0.05),which proves that the general information and baseline standards between the two groups are comparable.2.After the end of treatment,the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index of the patients in the Yuan-Luo acupoint of meridian-connection group and the general acupuncture group were significantly lower than before treatment,and the difference was significant(P<0.05),which indicates that both combining Yuan-Luo acupoint of meridian-connection therapy and conventional acupuncture treatment can significantly improve the sleep quality of patients with insomnia due to imbalance between heart and kidney after stroke.After treatment,there wasn’t exist any obvious difference in the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index scores after treatment between the two groups(P>0.05),but there was a significant subtraction difference in Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index score differences between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.05).It can still indicating that the effect of improving the patients’sleep quality by using acupuncture based on the method of combining Yuan-Luo acupoint of meridian-connection therapy is more significant than using ordinary acupuncture.After treatment,the total effective rate 91.18(%)of the Yuan-Luo acupoint of meridian-connection group was higher than that of the ordinary acupuncture group 76.47(%).There was an apparent difference in the overall efficacy between the two groups(P<0.05).After combining Yuan-Luo acupoint of meridian-connection treatment of insomnia after stroke due to the imbalance between heart and kidney,the overall effect is superior to ordinary acupuncture treatment.ConclusionThe acupuncture based on the method of combining Yuan-Luo acupoint of meridian-connection therapy is used to treat patients with insomnia after apoplexy due to the imbalance between heart and kidney,and the clinical effect is better than the conventional acupuncture treatment.Therefore,acupuncture by combining Yuan-Luo acupoint of meridian-connection can improve the sleep disorders of patients with this disease and promote the recovery of stroke patients.It has certain clinical applicability and promotion significance. |
