Objective:To observe the effect of arthroscopic anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction combined with postoperative Chinese medicine manipulation in the treatment of anterior cruciate ligament rupture. Methods:From May 2019 to January 2020,63 patients with ACL rupture treated by arthroscopic ACL reconstruction were randomly divided into treatment group and control group.Patients in both groups underwent arthroscopic anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, and the same postoperative treatment and rehabilitation training program was carried out in both groups. The patients in the treatment group were treated with Chinese medical manipulation for two weeks. The knee joint swelling and VAS scores of the two groups were recorded at 1 day,1 week,2 weeks,6 weeks and 12 weeks after operation.Lysholm score and IKDC score of the two groups were recorded at 1 day before operation and 12 weeks after operation. And then statistical analysis of these data. Results: Among 63 patients, one patient was difficult to tolerate manual treatment because of postoperative swelling, and one patient considered thrombus because of swelling and pain in the back of leg without manual treatment. In the end,61 patients were followed up for 12 weeks. There were no adverse conditions such as venous thrombosis, knee joint relaxation, knee joint infection in both groups. At 1 day after operation, there was no significant difference between the two groups in the degree of knee joint swelling and knee joint pain(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in Lysholm score and IKDC score between the two groups before operation(P>0.05).There was no significant difference between the treatment group and the control group in the four indicators of gender, age, knee distribution and weight(P>0.05).To sum up,there is comparability between the two groups of patients. At the first week and the second week after operation, the degree of swelling elimination in the treatment group was better than that in the control group, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).At the first week and the second week after operation, the VAS pain score of the treatment group was improved for the control group, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Lysholm score and IKDC score were compared in the two groups. The scores of 12 weeks after operation in the two groups were significantly higher than those of 1 day before operation, the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).The Lysholm score and IKDC score of the treatment group were higher than those of the control group at 12 weeks postoperatively, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Arthroscopic anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction combined with Chinese medicine manipulation is effective in the treatment of anterior cruciate ligament rupture.Chinese medicine manipulation is effective in relieving postoperative pain and swelling. The recovery of knee joint function of patients is ideal, which has clinical significance for further promotion and application.
