Objective:By astragalus membranaceus, yam combined use of TCM diet therapy in patients with type 2 diabetes(qi and Yin deficiency syndrome)clinical research,to evaluate objectively the therapeutic effect,to diet therapy of traditional Chinese medicine will provide a scientific basis for prevention and treatment of type 2 diabetes, and validate the root of remembranous milk vetch, yam joint application in the treatment of type 2 diabetes(qi and Yin deficiency syndrome),2.To explore the role of Chinese medicine diet therapy in improving blood glucose control, improving symptoms and improving quality of life in patients with diabetes due to deficiency of qi and Yin.3.Lay a foundation for the formation of a popular and popularizable diet program of traditional Chinese medicine that conforms to the physique and dietary habits of Chinese people.Method:In the future,60 T2DM patients(both qi and Yin deficiency syndrome)from the endocrinology department of qianfoshan hospital in shandong province who met the inclusion criteria were divided into the experimental group and the control group with 30 cases each according to the random number table. At the same time, the two groups of patients were taught the contents and principles of basic traditional Chinese medicine diet therapy for diabetes under the guidance of nutritionists.During the study period, the two groups of patients kept the original western medicine hypoglycemic regimen unchanged; All the patients were given food types that were consistent with the type of food selected jointly by Chinese medicine doctors and dietitians. The control group was not allowed to take astragalus and yam during the experiment period. The experimental group was given dietary intervention according to the diet jointly formulated by Chinese medicine doctors and dietitians. In order to ensure the accuracy of dosage, patients in the experimental group were given slices of raw astragalus and fresh yam, which were required to be cooked according to the diet of the day every day and consumed by themselves within a day.Six doctors were assigned to monitor and follow up the patients’ diet every day,and keep good records to ensure that the patients could strictly follow the requirements. The study period was 12 weeks, fasting blood glucose and postprandial blood glucose were reviewed every 6 weeks, and the syndrome score of patients before and after 12 weeks of intervention was recorded and observed through statistical analysis. The integral method was used to determine the curative effect of TCM syndromes.Result:After 12 weeks of experimental observation, the control group and experimental group showed no significant reduction in fasting glucose, fasting insulin, and regulation of TC and LDL(P>0.05].Compared with the two groups before intervention, the blood glucose and glycosylated hemoglobin were improved 2 hours after meal(P<0.05).After 12 weeks of intervention, the values of TG and HDL in the two groups showed positive development, but there was no statistical difference due to the relatively small sample size(P>,0.05).The clinical symptom improvement in the intervention group was better than that in the control group. Conclusion:The combination of astragalus and Chinese yam has a definite effect on T2DM(deficiency of qi and Yin),both of which can reduce the postprandial blood glucose and glycosylated hemoglobin for 2 hours. Both were more sensitive to regulation of triglycerides and HDL.The experimental group can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of patients, the advantage is more obvious. This indicates that T2DM is treated with traditional Chinese medicine diet therapy in a scientific way,and the combined application of astragalus and Chinese yam can enhance its curative effect on clinical symptoms and improve the quality of life of patients.
