Objective:In this study,we investigated the clinical efficacy of Shugan Jianpi Yangshen acupuncture and conventional acupuncture in the treatment of patients with liver depression and spleen deficiency insomnia. To provide a new method for the clinical treatment of Liver stagnation and spleen deficiency type of insomnia. Methods:A total of 80 patients with liver stagnation and spleen deficiency insomnia were selected from May 2018 to November 2019 who were admitted to the rehabilitation department of shijiazhuang hospital of traditional Chinese medicine.According to the time of visit, the patients were randomly divided into control group and treatment group, and the each group contains 40 cases. The control group was given conventional acupuncture, the treatment group was treated by Shugan Jianpi Yangshen acupuncture, treatment was performed 5days of continuous treatment and 2 days of rest per week for 4 weeks. Before treatment,at the end of treatment and 8 weeks after the end of treatment, the quantitative scores of TCM symptoms,Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)and Polysomnography(PSG)were used for statistical score comparison to analyze the therapeutic effect and efficacy persistence.Results:(1)In the comparison of the total effective rate after treatment: the treatment group was 91.67%,and the control group was 75.68%,with significant difference(P < 0.01).In terms of scale scores change, there were statistical different in the factors and total scores of TCM syndromes scale before and after treatment in each group(P<0.05).After treatment between the two groups, there was significant different in the sleep condition, the epigastric and thoracicdistension pain, abdominal distension, mood depression and total score of TCM syndromes(P<0.01),and statistical different in loose stool(P<0.05),and no statistical different in the eat less and the abdominal pain to drain(P>0.05).The PSQI factors and total scores were significant different before and after treatment in each group(P<0.01).After treatment, there were statistical different in sleep quality, sleep disorders, daytime dysfunction and total score between the two groups(P<0.05),but no statistical different in the time that takes to fall asleep, sleep time and sleep efficiency(P>0.05).In the comparison of statistical results of polysomnography(PSG),there were statistically significant different in each index of PSG before and after treatment in each group. And there were significant different in the total sleep time(TST),sleep efficiency(SE),slow wave sleep(SWS),sleep latency period(SLP)after the treatment between the two groups(P<0.01).(2)Comparison of follow-up between the two groups 8 weeks after the end of treatment, the comparison of abdominal distension, loose stool, mood depression and the total score of TCM syndromes were significant different(P<0.01),the sleep condition, eat less were statistically different(P<0.05),the test showed no statistical difference in the epigastric and thoracic distension pain and the abdominal pain to drain(P>0.05).In the comparison of PSQI scores during follow-up,there were significant different in total score(P < 0.01),daytime dysfunction was statistically different(P < 0.05),and the remaining factors were not statistically significant(P > 0.05).There were significant differences in TST,SE,SWS,SLP between the two groups(P<0.01).Conclusion:(1)Shugan Jianpi Yangshen acupuncture and conventional acupuncture both can improve the insomnia of insomniacs, but the former is better than the latter in improving the overall efficacy of insomnia;(2)Shugan Jianpi Yangshen acupuncture is superior to the conventional acupuncture in improving the TCM syndrome that caused by liver stagnation and spleen deficiency insomnia.(3)The long-term efficacy of the treatment group was better than that of thecontrol group, and the difference in efficacy can persist for at least 8 weeks. |
