Objective:This study was guided by the basic theory of TCM,combined with clinical practice, flexible use of traditional Chinese medicine nursing technique, give play to the characteristics of TCM treatment and care,of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)on patients with knee osteoarthritis using the clinical curative effect of comprehensive nursing intervention,to find a simple, safe, effective and easy to accept treatment patients, provide high quality nursing service for patients. Methods:From January 2016 to June 2017,100 patients with knee osteoarthritis who were treated by arthroscopic minimally invasive surgery in a county hospital of traditional Chinese medicine were selected to carry out a clinical control study.According to the order of admission of patients, they were divided into two groups:the control group(50 cases)were given routine nursing, the intervention group(50 cases)were given comprehensive nursing intervention of traditional Chinese medicine, and the patients were reexamined two weeks later,To compare the difference of knee joint function recovery effect, pain score, nursing satisfaction, knowledge rate of knee osteoarthritis disease, hospitalization expenses and hospitalization days between the intervention group and the control groupResults:1.Comparison of clinical efficiency between two groups of patientsThe clinical effective rate of the intervention group was 94%,and that of the control group was 68%,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.Comparison of knee joint score and VAS score between the two groupsThere was no significant difference in the HSS and VAS scores between the intervention group and the control group before the intervention. After the intervention, the HSS of the intervention group was 92.5 ± 4.3,and that of the control group was 81.1 ± 4.1(P<0.05);the VSA of the intervention group was 1.0 ± 0.5,and that of the control group was 2.2 ± 0.8(P<0.05)。3.Comparison of quality of life after intervention between the two groupsIn terms of quality of life, the intervention group was significantly better than the control group in mental health, physiological function and emotional function(P<0.05);4.Surface electromyography parametersIn terms of AEMG,after intervention,AEMG of BF,RF,VL and VMO in two groups were better than those before intervention. After intervention,BF,RF,VL,VMO and AEMG of intervention group were significantly higher than those of control group, and there was significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).5.Comparison of isokinetic muscle strength test between two groups before and after interventionIn isokinetic muscle strength test, after intervention, the peak torque ratio(H/Q)of hamstring and quadriceps femoris in both groups was better than that before intervention. There was significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).6.Comparison of nursing satisfaction between the two groupsThe nursing satisfaction of the intervention group was 92%and that of the control group was 76%.The intervention group was significantly better than the control group, and there was a significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).7.Comparison of awareness rate of knee osteoarthritis disease related knowledge between the two groupsAfter the intervention, the awareness rate of the patients in the intervention group was 94%and that of the control group was 68%.The intervention group was significantly better than the control group, and there was a significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).8.Comparison of hospitalization expenses and length of stay between the two groupsAfter 2 weeks of treatment, the total treatment cost and length of stay in the intervention group were 5328.3 ± 1463.6 yuan and 12.14 ± 3.55 days, while those of the control group were 6622.4 ± 1631.5 yuan and 18.47 ± 4.39 days respectively. The hospitalization expenses and hospitalization time of the intervention group were significantly lower than those of the control group, and there was a significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).Conclusion:In the treatment of knee osteoarthritis patients, the comprehensive nursing mode of traditional Chinese medicine can improve the clinical effect, relieve the patients’ pain, improve the knee joint function, improve the quality of life, improve the patients’awareness of the disease, related knowledge and economic burden.
