Objective:In this project,by observing the clinical efficacy of acupuncture treatment of residual dizziness after reduction of otolithiasis, determine the effectiveness of acupuncture, and provide a better treatment plan for clinical acupuncture treatment of residual dizziness after reduction of otolithiasis. Methods:In this project,65 patients with residual dizziness after reduction of otoliths who meet the criteria were selected as the research objects.According to the random number table, they were divided into 33 cases in the acupuncture group and 32 cases in the western medicine group. In the acupuncture group, acupuncture at Baihui,Fengchi,Shuaigu and Tinggong points as the main points, hyperactivity of liver yang plus Hegu and Taixi;inhibition of turbid phlegm plus Fenglong,Yin lingquan;blood stasis hinders the brain collaterals plus Xuehai and Geshu;deficiency of both qi and blood plus Qihai and Xuehai;insufficient kidney essence plus Xuanzhong and Sanyinjiao, needle time is half an hour, once a day, rest two days after five days of acupuncture, two weeks of continuous treatment, five days as one course of treatment, two courses of treatment;in the western medicine group, betahistine mesylate tablets were given,a slice is 6mg,three times a day, seven days for one course of treatment, two courses in total.Observe and record the dizziness handicap inventory(DHI),visual analogue scale(VAS)and vestibular symptom index(VSI)before and after treatment, and evaluate the efficacy. All data were analyzed in SPSS25.0 statistical software.Results:1.General data analysis: A total of 65 patients were collected, and 60 cases were finally completed,30 cases in each of the acupuncture group and western medicine group. After analyzing the results using SPSS25.0 statistical software,it was concluded that the two groups had no statistically significant differences in gender, age and disease course(P<0.05),and they were comparable.2.DHI score: After treatment, the DHI scores of the two groups were lower than before treatment, and the acupuncture group was better than the western medicine group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that both groups can improve otolithiasis after reset The symptoms of residual dizziness, and acupuncture therapy were more obvious, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that the acupuncture group was better than the western medicine group in relieving residual dizziness.3.VAS score: After treatment, the VAS score of the two groups decreased compared with before treatment, and the acupuncture group was better than the western medicine group. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that both groups can improve the degree of dizziness. The effect of acupuncture group on improving vertigo is better than that of western medicine group.4.VSI score: After treatment, the VSI scores of the two groups were lower than those before treatment. The acupuncture group was better than the western medicine group. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that the two therapies can improve vestibular symptoms such as dizziness and balance disorders. The acupuncture group is better than the western medicine group in improving vestibular symptoms such as dizziness and balance disorder.5.Effective rate of treatment: the effective rate of the acupuncture group was 93.3%,and the effective rate of the western medicine group was 76.7%.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the acupuncture group was better than the western medicine group.Conclusion:1.Both acupuncture and betahistine mesylate tablets can effectively alleviate the symptoms of residual dizziness after reduction of otolithiasis.2.Compared with betahistine mesylate tablets, acupuncture is more effective in treating residual dizziness after reduction of otolithiasis.3.Acupuncture can improve the vestibular symptoms of patients with residual dizziness after reduction of otolithiasis, and improve the quality of life.It is worthy of further clinical promotion.
