Clinical Effect Of Liuwei Dihuang Jiawei Decoction On Diabetic PeriPheral NeuroPathy(Deficiency Of Qi And Yin With Blood Stasis Syndrome)

Objective:To conduct clinical effect on self-made Liuwei Dihuang Jiawei Decoction in the treatment of Diabetic Peri Pheral Neuro Pathy(DPN)with Qi and Yin Deficiency and Stasis Syndrome,to objectively evaluate its efficacy and safety,and to explore the advantages of TCM in the treatment of DPN,provide theoretical support and scientific basis for the treatment of DPN with integrated Chinese and Western medicine.Methods : A total of 108 patients with DPN who met the inclusion criteria were collected from the Second Department of Endocrinology,Shanxi Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine.They were sampled and grouped according to the random number table method.The patients were divided into two groups,a control group and a treatment group,with 54 cases in each group.Both groups were given individualized treatment of diabetes first,such as diet control,moderate exercise,blood pressure reduction,lipid regulation,etc.Reduce blood sugar to reach the target value of blood sugar control with small fluctuations.The control group was given oral methylcobalamin tablets(500ug,3 times a day),and the treatment group was given oral self-prepared Liuwei Dihuang Jiawei Decoction on the basis of the control group,2 times a day),the treatment course of both groups was 8 weeks.Observe the clinical symptom score,Nerve conduction velocity(NCV),Toronto Clinical Scoring System(Toronto Clinical Scoring System,TCSS),Michigan Diabetic Neuropathy Score(MDNS)changes,to evaluate its clinical effects.Results :(1)Comparison of clinical symptom scores and efficacy: The clinical symptom scores of the treatment group and the control group after treatment were lower than those before treatment,while the former score decreased more than the latter,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);Com Parison of curative effects,the treatment group has an effective rate of 93.75%,and the control group has an effective rate of only 75%.Compared the two effective rates,the difference is statistically significant(P<0.05).The results show:Self-made Liuwei Dihuang Jiawei Decoction combined with mecobalamin and mecobalamin alone can im Prove the clinical sym Ptoms of DPN,and the treatment effect of the former is better than the latter.(2)Comparison of nerve conduction velocity: The common peroneal nerve and tibial nerve MNCV and SNCV after treatment in the treatment group and the control group decreased compared with before treatment,and the NCV of the former improved more significantly than the latter,and the differences were statistically significant.(P<0.05),the results show that the two treatments can increase the nerve conduction velocity of patients with DPN compared with before treatment.And self-made Liuwei Dihuang Jiawei Decoction combined with mecobalamin has better therapeutic effect.(3)Comparison of TCSS score and MDNS score: After treatment,the TCSS score and MDNS score of the Patients in the treatment group and the control group were lower than before treatment,and the TCSS score and MDNS score of the former were lower than the former after treatment,and the difference was statistically significant.Significance(P<0.05),the results showed that the self-made Liuwei Dihuang Jiawei Decoction combined with mecobalamin and mecobalamin alone can improve the TCSS score and MDNS score.And the effect of the former treatment is better than the latter.(4)Safety comparison: There were no adverse events in the two groups during the treatment.Conclusion : The self-made Liuwei Dihuang Jiawei Decoction can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of DPN(Deficiency of Qi and Yin with Blood Stasis),increase nerve conduction speed,improve TCSS score and MDNS score,delay the progression of the disease,and give full play to the treatment of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine.Specialty,no adverse reactions have been found so far,and further clinical application is urgently needed.
