Clinical Study On Treatment Of Subacute Thyroiditis (Heat Toxin Syndrome) With Yingxiao Jiedu Decoction And Ruyi Jinhuang Powder External Application

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of traditional Chinese medicine Yingxiao Jiedu Decoction combined with local application of Ruyi Jinhuang Powder in the treatment of subacute thyroiditis(heat toxin syndrome).Methods:The 60 SAT(heat toxin syndrome)patients who meet the inclusion criteria will be studied by a randomized controlled method,and they will be divided into a study group(internal or external application of Chinese medicine)30 cases and a control group(internal or external application of Chinese medicine)30cases.The research group gave the traditional Chinese medicine Yingxiao Jiedu Decoction orally combined with Ruyi Jinhuang Powder and topical application.The control group was given the simple traditional Chinese medicine Ying Xiao Jiedu Decoction orally.The treatment cycle is 2 courses,a total of 4 weeks,and the follow-up is 2 months.Observe the changes in the efficacy evaluation indicators of the study group and the control group,such as the TCM syndrome score,erythrocyte sedimentation rate,C-reactive protein,Fever subsided time,thyroid pain relief time,thyroid function,incidence of hypothyroidism,recurrence rate,adverse reactions,etc.Using SPSS26.0 statistical analysis software for analysis,to evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of traditional Chinese medicine Ying Xiao Jiedu Decoction combined with Ruyi Jinhuang Powder for topical application in the treatment of SAT.Results:Before treatment,basic data such as age,gender,course of disease,TCM syndrome score,erythrocyte sedimentation rate,C-reactive protein and thyroid hormone levels of the two groups were compared between groups.Statistical analysis(P>0.05)proved that the two groups were comparable.After two courses of treatment:1.Comparison of the two groups The total effective rate of the comprehensive therapeutic effect of the study group(86.67%)is higher than that of the control group(76.67%),and the difference is statistically significant(P<0.05);The total effective rate of TCM syndromes in the study group was 90.00%,and that in the control group was 83.33%.There was a significant difference after statistical analysis(P<0.05).2.After treatment,the scores of TCM syndromes,ESR,CRP and thyroid hormone levels were significantly improved after treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);Comparison between the two groups,the study group and the control group had significant differences in TCM syndrome scores,ESR,CRP,antipyretic and thyroid pain relief time(P<0.05).3.Followed up for 2 months,there was no recurrence in both groups.2 cases(6.67%)in the study group had hypothyroidism lower than 5 cases(16.67%)in the control group.4.In terms of adverse reactions,2 cases in the study group had mild local skin redness and itching during the application process,and 3 caseshad gastrointestinal discomfort such as loose stools 、 Stomach acid reflux;In the control group,4patientsexperienced gastrointestinal discomfort such as stomach distension and loose stools during the course of taking the medicine.The discomfort symptoms disappeared after adjusting the medication and the way of medication in the two groups.Conclusion: Traditional Chinese medicine Ying Xiao Jiedu Decoction combined with Ruyi Jinhuang Powder and topical application can significantly improve the clinical symptoms of patients with subacute thyroiditis(heat toxin syndrome),improve TCM syndromes,and promote ESR,CRP,thyroid function and other laboratory indicators to return to normal.There is a trend to reduce the incidence of hypothyroidism.Especially it has obvious advantages in improving patients’ inflammatory indicators,reducing fever and relieving thyroid pain.Compared with simple oral administration of traditional Chinese medicine,the effect is better,and it is worthy of further in-depth research and clinical application.
