| Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of modified Zengye Chengqi decoction in treating functional constipation. The mechanism of Jiawei Zengye Chengqi decoction was analyzed by modern pharmacological research. To provide clinical experience and theoretical basis for the treatment of chronic functional constipation with traditional Chinese medicine.Method:A total of 70 patients with functional constipation(yin deficiency and intestinal dryness)were selected and divided into treatment group and control group by random number table. The treatment group was treated with modified Zengye Chengqi decoction and the control group was treated with Biantong capsule. The total effective rate, the change of symptom score and the comparison of long-term curative effect were obtained by using scientific statistical methods. In order to ensure the safety of patients, during treatment and follow-up,patients were closely observed to prevent possible adverse reactions and adverse effects on patients.Results:1.The basic condition(age, sex, course of disease),total score of symptoms before treatment and scores of symptoms in the two groups were statistically analyzed. The difference was not statistically significant(p > 0.05),indicating that there was no significant difference between the two groups,comparable.2.Comparison of the effective rate: according to the final statistics,35 patients in the treatment group, the total effective rate of the treatment group was 94.29%,of which 7 patients were cured,14 were effective,12 were effective and 2 were ineffective;35 patients in the control group, the total effective rate was80.00%,among which 4 patients were cured,10 were effective,14 were effective and 7 were ineffective. The total effective rate of the treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control group, and there was a statistical difference between the two groups(p < 0.05).3.Comparison of total symptom score: the total symptom score of TCM in the two groups was statistically analyzed. Results the total symptom score of TCM in the two groups decreased significantly after treatment(p < 0.05).It showed that the symptoms of both groups were improved by treatment. The total score of TCM symptoms in the treatment group was significantly higher than that in the control group(p < 0.05).4.Single-item symptom score comparison: after treatment,single-item symptom score analysis was performed in the two groups, the curative effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group in improving the original symptoms of the patients, such as dry stool, time interval of defecation, degree of defecation exertion, dry mouth, less saliva, hot hands, feet and heart, less sleep, hot flashes and night sweats(p < 0.05),there were significant statistical differences.5.Comparison of long-term effect: to compare the recurrence rate of the two groups,33 effective patients in the treatment group and28 effective patients in the control group were followed up one month after discontinuation of the drug. The relapse rate was 9.09%in 3 patients in the treatment group. In the control group, there were 9 cases with recurrence, and the recurrence rate was 32.14%.Chi-square test showed that the recurrence rate of the two groups was significantly different(p < 0.05).The recurrence rate of the treatment group was lower than that of the control group, and the long-term effect was better than that of the control group.6.Safety evaluation: during the treatment with modified Zengye Chengqi decoction, the patients did not have any adverse reactions and side effects, and the clinical application was safe and reliable. Conclusion:Compared with the control group,Jiawei Zengye Chengqi decoction can significantly improve the symptoms of patients with functional constipation(yin deficiency and intestinal dryness syndrome),with significant efficacy, safety, effectiveness, and good long-term efficacy, can carry on the further thorough research and the clinical promotion. |
