| Objective1.To introduce the Family Resilience Questionnaire(Fa RE Questionnaire),to translate and revise the questionnaire into Chinese version, and assess the reliability and validity of Chinese version of the Family Resilience Questionnaire in patients with breast cancer.2.To investigate and analyze the current status of the family resilience of patients with breast cancer in China, then find its realted influencing factors, and provide corresponding strategies to improve the family resilience of patients.MethodsThe first part:Translation,Reliability and Validity of the Family Resilience Questionnaire.Firstly,to contact the author Flavia Faccio by email to explain the research objectives and get the authorization of the Family Resilience Questionnaire. Then translating and revising the Fa RE questionnaire into Chinese version suitable for Chinese cultural background according to Brislin translation model. The convenience sampling method was used to select the breast cancer patients hospitalized in the oncology department and the breast surgery department of three tertiary class A hospitals in Zhengzhou from October to December 2019 and from August to October 2020 as the study subjects. The data were collected for two times. The first sampling was used for item analysis, exploratory factor analysis and reliability analysis.A total of 249 valid questionnaires were collected. The second sampling was used for confirmatory factor analysis.A total of 310 valid questionnaires were collected. The research tools included the General information questionnaire,Chinese version of Family Resilience Questionnaire and the Adult Resilience Scale. In terms of item analysis, item total scores correlation method and decision value method were used;In terms of validity, using Exploratory Factor Analysis(EFA)and Confirmatory Factor Analysis(CFA)to verify the construct validity of the questionnaire, adopting Item-Content Validity Index(I-CVI)and Scale-Content Validity Index(S-CVI)to evaluate the content validity of the questionnaire, examining the correlation between the Chinese version of the Family Resilience Questionnaire and external criteria to assess the criteria-related validity of the questionnaire; In terms of reliability, the intemal consistency of the questionnaire was evaluated using Cronbach’s alpha and the stability of the questionnaire was assesed by test-retest reliability. The second part:Family resilience status investigation and its influencing factors analysis in patients with breast cancer.200 patients with breast cancer were chosed by convenient sampling mehod from November to December 2020.General information questionnaire,Chinese version of the Family Resilience Questionnaire,Resilience Scale,General Self-Efficacy Scale,Simple Coping Style Questionnaire, and the General Functioning Scale of the Family were used to investigate the current status of the family resilience of patients. The data was analyzed by SPSS21.0 software. And descriptive analysis, pearson correlation analysis, multiple linear regression analysis were used.ResultsIn the first part of the study,a Chinese version of the Family Resilience Questionnaire was developed, which was suitable for Chinese cultural background and had good reliability and validity. The correlation analysis results of the questionnaire showed that the correlation coefficients between the score of each item and the total scores of the questionnaire were all greater than 0.40,ranging from0.437 to 0.712,and the critical ratio value indicated that the differences among all items were statistically significant(p<0.01);The Cronbach’s alpha of the total questionnaire was 0.909,and the Cronbach’s alpha of four factors ranged from 0.902to 0.963.The test-retest reliability of the total questionnaire was 0.905,and test-retest reliability of four factors ranged from 0.942 to 0.968;The I-CVI of the questionnaire ranged from 0.83 to 1.00,and S-CVI was 0.97;The correlation coefficient between the questionnaire and Adult Resilience Scale was r=0.930(p<0.01),greater than 0.7;Total four common factors were extracted by Exploratory factor analysis, and cumulative variance contribution rate was 72.146%.The loading value of each item in common factors was above 0.40.Four common factors extracted finally were consistent with the original questionnaire.Confirmatory factor analysis indicated that the factor model fitting was good, fitting indexX~2/df=1.697,RMR=0.039,GFI=0.912,CFI=0.972,IFI=0.972,NFI=0.934,RMSEA=0.048.The total scores of the Chinese version of the Family Resilience Questionnaire in patients with breat cancer were(105.56±16.90),the total scores of four dimensions were as follows:communication and cohesion(41.93±6.35),perceived social support(37.04±8.76),perceived family coping(19.19±4.41),religiousness and spirituality(7.43±5.60).One-way ANOVA showed that religiousness and spirituality, marital status, per capita family monthly income, living situations and family history of disease were the influencing factors of family resilience.Correlation analysis results showed that family resilience of patients was positively correlated with resilience, general self-efficacy,positive coping style, and general family functioning, but negatively correlated with negative coping style.Multiple linear regression analysis showed that general self-efficacy,positive coping style, negative coping style, general family functioning were the important influencing factors to evaluate the the family resilience, and they could explain 97.4%of the total scores of family resilience.Conclusion1.There was good reliability and validity in the Chinese version of the Family Resilience Questionnaire, and it can be adopted to measure and evaluate the family resilience of patients with breast cancer in China.2.The family resilience of patients with breast cancer involved in the study have middle levels.Patient’s general self-efficacy,positive coping style, negative coping style, general family functioning were the important influencing factors of family resilience in patients with breast cancer. |
