ObjectiveThe purpose of this study is to investigate the current situation of care preparation, disease uncertainty, and hope level of family members of hemodialysis patients, and explore the relationship between care preparation, disease uncertainty, and hope level of family members of hemodialysis patients.Health education and clinical intervention provide theoretical basis.MethodsIn this study, convenience sampling was used. From October 2019 to September 2020,210 family members of patients receiving hemodialysis in 3tertiary hospitals A in Jinzhou City,Liaoning Province were surveyed by questionnaires.Use general demographic data, caregiver preparation scale, disease uncertainty scale, and hope level scale to investigate the general demographic status, caregiving readiness status, illness uncertainty status, and hope level status of the family members of hemodialysis patients.SPSS25.0software was used for data entry and descriptive analysis,t-test,analysis of variance,Pearson correlation analysis, multiple linear regression analysis were used;AMOS23.0 software was used to establish a structural equation model and test.Results1、The caregiver’s readiness score is(22.60±3.93)points;the disease uncertainty score is(83.28±12.83)points;the hope level score is(35.07±5.86)points.2、Caregiver readiness scores are based on different ages, marital status, education level, relationship with patients, understanding of hemodialysis patients’ nursing skills, time to provide care, relationship with family members, hemodialysis time, and way of paying for medical expenses The difference is statistically significant(P<0.05);disease uncertainty scores are in different ages, marital status, relationship with patients, understanding of the nursing skills of hemodialysis patients, time to provide care, hemodialysis time, and medical expenses The above difference is statistically significant(P<0.05);there are differences in the hope level scores in different ages, education levels, understanding of the nursing skills of hemodialysis patients, time to provide care, relationship with family members, and medical expenses Statistically significant(P<0.05).3、The disease uncertainty score is negatively correlated with the caregiver readiness score(r=-0.586,P<0.01);the disease uncertainty score is negatively correlated with the hope level score(r=-0.556,P<0.01);hope level The score is positively correlated with the caregivers readiness score(r=0.615,P<0.01).4、The results of simple linear regression analysis show that disease uncertainty has a predictive effect on caregiver readiness(β=-0.449,t=-7.996,P<0.001),and disease uncertainty has a predictive effect on hope level(β=-0.460),t=-7.927,P<0.001).The results of multiple linear regression analysis showed that disease uncertainty and hope level scores have predictive effects on caregiver readiness(disease uncertainty: β=-0.298,t=-4.898,P<0.001;hope level: β=0.330,t=5.097,P<0.001).5、The structural equation model results show that the direct effect of disease uncertainty on the hope level is-0.610,the direct effect of hope level on the readiness of caregivers is 0.560,and the direct effect of disease uncertainty on the readiness of caregivers is-0.300.The indirect effect of uncertainty on caregiver readiness is-0.341,accounting for 53.2% of the total effect(-0.341/-0.641).Conclusions1、The family members of hemodialysis patients are at a moderate level of disease uncertainty, and caregivers are at a moderately high level of readiness and hope.2、 Families of patients who are between 18 and 39 years old, provide little care time, know less about the nursing skills of hemodialysis patients, and pay for themselves are susceptible to disease uncertainty, low hopes, and lack of preparation.3、The disease uncertainty score has a negative predictive effect on the hope level and the caregiver’s readiness, and the hope level has a positive predictive effect on the caregiver’s readiness.4、 Disease uncertainty can not only directly affect the care readiness of the family members of hemodialysis patients, but also have an indirect effect on the care readiness of the family members of hemodialysis patients by affecting the hope level.
