Objective:The effect of different treatment methods on the bonding strength of zirconia resin after saliva contamination studied in vitro.Methods:Produced and zirconia ceramics samples screened 80(9 mm×9 mm×3 mm),depending on the use of cleaner randomly divided into A(using Zirclean)and B(using Ivoclean)in the two groups,according to the different clinical operation steps A and B in each group were randomly divided into three groups,A total of six groups,each group of ten samples,respectively A1 group:sandblasting-saliva contamination-Zirclean clean-primer coating;Group A2:sandblasting-bottom coating-saliva contamination-ZirClean-primer coating;Group A3:Saliva pollution-ZirCleanSandblasting-primer coating;Group B1,B2 and B3 were treated in the same order as group A,and only the detergent was changed to Ivoclean.After the surface treatment according to the above method,two samples from each group was randomly selected to observe its surface morphology under scanning electron microscope.Forty-eight resin samples(d=4 mm,h=4 mm)were made and screened,and the resin samples were bonded to zirconia specimens,then and all specimens were placed in a 37℃constant temperature water bath for 24 h before embedding.The shear strength was measured by a universal testing machine,and zirconia specimens’ fracture modes were scanned and documented one by one under a stereomicroscope(×10).The shear strength values of all specimens were analyzed by one-way ANOVA using SPSS 23.0 statistical software,and then LSD test was used for multiple comparison between groups,and the test level was all α=0.05.Results:1.Results of shear strength:Results of shear strength:The difference of shear strength values between experimental groups A,B,C and N was statistically significant.Shear strength value:group A2>group C>group A3>group A1>group N,groupB2>group C>group B1>groupB3>group N(P<0.05);and there were statistically significant differences in shear strength values between group C and A1,A2,B2 and N(P<0.05),and there were statistically significant differences in shear strength values between group N and each group in group A and B(P<0.05).In group A,the shear strength value of A2 was higher than that of A1 and A3,and the difference of shear strength value within the group was statistically significant(P<0.05).,but the difference of shear strength value within the group A1 and A3 was not statistically significant(P>0.05).In group B,the shear strength of B2 was higher than that of the B1 and B3 groups,and the difference of the shear strength within the group was statistically significant(P<0.05),However,there was no statistically significant difference in the shear strength between the B1 and B3 groups(P<0.05).Among groups A and B,the shear strength of group B1 was higher than that of group A1,and the differences between groups A1 and B1 were statistically significant(P<0.05),but the pairwise differences between groups A2 and B2 and A3 and B3 were not statistically significant(P<0.05)..2.Fracture mode results:The fracture mode is mainly cohesive failure,and the fracture surface is between the resin cement and the resin column;The results show that the residual resin cement can be seen on the surface of zirconia;only group N,A1,A2,B1,B2 and B3 have a few mixed failure phenomena;and no interface damage between zirconia and resin cement was found.3.SEM:before treatment,a small amount of scratches can be seen on the surface of zirconia,but the whole surface is still flat;After sandblasting,the rough surface with irregular pits can be observed on the surface.After saliva contamination,salivary protein,bubbles and water residues can be seen on the surface of zirconia.After the use of cleaning agent,salivary protein and bubbles on the surface of zirconia can be significantly reduced,and no obvious defects are found on the surface.A.In group B,the surface condition of saliva was similar after contamination,with residual salivary protein particles such as water;there was no significant residual substance on the surface after using ZirClean or Ivoclean.Conclusion:1.ZirClean or Ivoclean.had a certain cleaning effect on the surface of zirconia contaminated by saliva,the bonding performance can be improved to a certain extent.2.During the oral trial,apply a base coating containing MDP to the surface of zirconia before saliva contamination and then clean with detergent for better results.
