Objective: To understand the satisfaction of the undergraduates on the quality of courses and the current training status of the general practice of Wannan Medical College,provide a basis for the teaching reform of our school,so as to improve the quality of general medicine teaching in our school.Methods: The third,fourth,fifth grade undergraduates of general medicine major of our school and some graduated general medicine students(185 people totally)were selected to conduct a survey of satisfaction with the teaching quality of general medicine majors;the satisfaction survey questionnaire is based on the teaching quality of domestic and foreign students The satisfaction questionnaire structure is set in accordance with the characteristics of our school’s general teaching,and experts are organized to make suggestions on the content and structure of the questionnaire.After further revisions are made to the questionnaire based on expert opinions,the questionnaire is issued to the survey subjects and the results are collected.Use SPSS25.0 software to analyze the data;Combining the employment situation of our school’s general medicine graduates in the past 5 years,comprehensively analyze the current situation of our school’s general medicine student training and the problems existing in the training process,and put forward relevant suggestions to improve teaching quality.Results: 1.A total of 185 electronic questionnaires were sent out and161 were collected with a recovery rate of 87%;The Cronbach’s alpha of the questionnaire is 0.994,and the KMO value is 0.957,indicating that the reliability and validity of the questionnaire are high.2.The average value of students’ overall satisfaction with undergraduate teaching is 4.03,which is at the "satisfying" level.The average satisfaction values on the9 dimensions of professional course teachers,skill course teachers,professional course implementation,skill course implementation,self-learning situation,other aspects of the school,teaching reform,clinical teaching teachers,and clinical practice experience are 4.05,4.07,4.07,4.07,3.81,4.01,4.04,4.08,4.08,respectively.It can be observed that the average satisfaction of self-learning dimension is lower than other dimensions.3.According to the results of the chi-square test,there is a significant difference in the distribution of graduation destinations between current students and undergraduate students.Current students and undergraduate students have the highest proportion in choosing the training direction,65.5% and 82.4% respectively;The proportion of candidates for postgraduate entrance examinations is as high as 23.6%,in current students’ default rate was 34.5%.Combined with the actual number of graduates from 2015 to 2019,the total number of graduates was 181,the fulfillment rate was 90.06%,and the actual default rate was 9.94%.Among them,the number of graduates who entered the postgraduate entrance examination and re-selected jobs accounted for 3.86% and 6.07% of the graduates.4.Implementation of the dimensions of professional courses and their curriculum settings,teaching time,assessment mode and learning effect items,attendance items,postponement of internship and internship time,overall dimensions of clinical practice and improvement of clinical thinking,improvement of doctor-patient communication,and improvement of scientific research literacy In terms of items,the satisfaction level of juniors was significantly greater than that of juniors,and the satisfaction level of seniors was significantly greater than that of seniors(p<0.05).In the dimension of clinical teachers,there are significant differences in the diversity of clinical teachers’ teaching methods,clinical teachers’ theoretical teaching,clinical teachers’ skills teaching,clinical teachers’ thinking teaching,and clinical teachers’ comprehensive teaching ability(p<0.05),namely The satisfaction level of the fifth year is significantly lower than that of the fourth year.5.Respondents with different graduation intentions have significant differences in all dimensions.Students who intend to plan training,postgraduate entrance examination,work and other intentions have a higher level of satisfaction with our university’s undergraduate teaching than students who intend to change careers.6.There are significant differences between students in the high and low groups of self-learning initiative in all dimensions and items(p<0.05).Conclusion: 1.Undergraduates majoring in general medicine in our school have a higher overall level of satisfaction with the teaching quality and current training status,and the compliance rate after graduation is higher.2.Senior students are less satisfied with the clinical teaching and clinical practice part of the teaching hospital.They need to enhance the awareness of clinical teaching and increase the opportunities for undergraduate interns to participate in clinical practice.3.The senior students have low information literacy ability.Strengthen the training of information literacy to improve students’ ability to acquire,analyze and output knowledge.4.It is recommended to cancel the restriction on postgraduate entrance examinations for undergraduates in general medicine to meet the pursuit of higher academic qualifications for undergraduates in general medicine.5.Promote candidates’ belief in serving the grassroots and avoid the waste of educational resources.
