Prognostic Value Of Preoperative Neutrophil-to-lymphocyte Ratio (NLR) And Platelet-lymphocyte Ratio (PLR) In Patients With Renal Clear Cell Carcinoma

Objective:To explore the correlation of preoperative NLR and PLR on the prognosis of patients with renal clear cell carcinoma.Methods: We retrospectively analyzed the data with clear cell carcinoma of kidney after surgical treatment in our hospital from 2013 to 2019.Basic clinicopathological data and follow-up data were collected.The optimal cutoff value of NLR and PLR were determined using receiver operating characteristic curve(ROC)analysis,based on which the patients were divided into the high group and the low group according.RFS(Recurrence-free survival)was estimated using the Kaplan-Meier method and survival curves were compared by log-rank test.Univariate and multivariate models were performed using Cox regression models to determine risk factors affecting overall survival.Results: A total of 374 patients were followed up for a median of 39 months,including 151 male and 223 female patients;There were 321 cases in T1 and T2stage;.2.40 was selected as the optimal cutoff value to differentiate between high NLR group and low NLR group;We use the same method to get the optimal cutoff value of PLR with 150.The results of Kaplan-Meier analysis showed that the overall survival rate was lower in the high lever group than in the low lever group(P=0.001).Multivariate COX regression model analysis indicated that NLR(HR=0.269,95%CI:0.104-0.693,P=0.007)、PLR(HR=0.450,95%CI:0.208-0.975,P=0.043)、T-stage(HR=0.129,95%CI:0.061-0.276,P=0.001)、tissue grade(HR=1.792,95%CI:1.195-2.686,P=0.005)and age(HR=0.478,95%CI:0.252-0.908,P=0.024)are significant risk factors for overall survival in patients with renal clear cell carcinoma.Conclusion: Preoperative NLR and PLR have predictive value for the prognosis of patients with renal clear cell carcinoma.
