Clinical Observation Of Jiawei Shenbo Enema Recipe To Treat Distal Ulcerative Colitis

Objective:This subject from the intervention of Jiawei Shenbo Enema Recipe in the treatment of mild distal ulcerative colitis clinical symptoms,colonoscopy signs,mucosal healing,pathological improvement and security,to observe the clinical efficacy and safety of Jiawei Shenbo Enema Recipe in the treatment of distal ulcerative colitis,and to preliminarily explore the theoretical basis and treatment mechanism of Jiawei Shenbo Enema Recipe,so as to provide reference for traditional Chinese medicine retention enema in the treatment of distal ulcerative colitis Theoretical and clinical basis.Methods:A total of 30 patients with mild distal ulcerative colitis from the outpatient Department of Digestive Endoscopy Center of Jiangsu Provincial Hospital of TCM were selected in the study,and they met the diagnostic criteria of Damp-heat syndrome of large intestine in traditional Chinese medicine.They were given Jiawei Shenbo Enema Recipe by drip retention enema once a night,with a total course of 6 months.After the course of treatment,the colonoscopy and pathology were reviewed.By comparing the patients’ traditional Chinese medicine symptom scores,colonoscopy sign scores,Baron scores,modified Mayo scores,and mucosal histology scores before and after treatment,the clinical efficacy and safety of Jiawei Shenbo Enema Recipe were evaluated.Results:1.Curative effect of TCM symptoms:the comparison of TCM main symptom scores before and after treatment was statistically significant(P<0.05).Diarrhea,abdominal pain,bloody stool,mucus stool,tenesmus,anal burning,abdominal distension were all improved.1 case was cured,14 cases were markedly effective,13 cases were effective,and 2 cases were ineffective.The cure rate was 3.3%,the obvious efficiency was 46.7%,and the total effective rate was 93.3%.2.Colonoscopy efficacy:21 cases were markedly effective,6 cases were effective,3 cases were ineffective,the effective rate was 70%,the total effective rate was 90%.After treatment,intestinal mucosal congestion,edema,erosion and ulcer were improved,and the comparison before and after treatment was statistically significant(P<0.01).After treatment,25 cases were healed and 5 cases were not healed,The mucosal healing rate was 83.3%.Before treatment,Baron scores were mostly distributed in mild to moderate lesions,including 11 cases of mild lesions,17 cases of moderate lesions,2 cases of severe lesions,After treatment,21 cases were normal,4 cases were mild lesions,and 5 cases were moderate lesions.3.Histopathology:The comparison of colonoscopy pathology scores before and after treatment was statistically significant(P<0.01).4.Comprehensive curative effect:13 cases were cured,7 cases were markedly effective,7 cases were effective,3 cases were ineffective,the cure rate was 43.3%,the effective rate was 23.3%,and the total effective rate was 90.0%.5.Security:there was no adverse drug reaction during the retention enema of Jiawei Shenbo Enema Recipe,and no aggravation or canceration occurred after the course of treatment.Reearch conclusion:Jiawei Shenbo Enema Recipe retention enema can help repair intestinal mucosa,promote mucosal healing,reduce mucosal congestion,edema,erosion and ulcer,and can improve the main clinical symptoms of patients with distal ulcerative colitis,improve clinical efficacy,and has good safety,no adverse drug reactions,liver and kidney function damage,re-examination colonoscopy did not find significant aggravation or pathological progress.
