Clinical Observation Of Sishen Decoction And Quzhi Decoction On Knee Osteoarthritis Of Liver And Kidney Deficiency

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Sishen Decoction and Quzhi Decoction in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis with deficiency of liver and kidney,and to provide reference for the clinical treatment of knee osteoarthritis in the future.Methods:This study was conducted in the affiliated hospital of Nanjing university of TCM orthopedics outpatient service,altogether collected were diagnosed with kidney deficiency type of KOA patients 64 cases,randomly divided into experimental group and control group,treatment group 32 cases and control group,32 cases of patients using four Fried god doing soup oral treatment,control group adopts celecoxib oral treatment.In this study,2 weeks was used as a course of treatment,and 2 courses of treatment were continued.During the treatment,the VAS score,WOMAC score,knee circumference and the incidence of adverse events were observed and recorded before and after 2 and 4 weeks of treatment The data were recorded and analyzed statistically to obtain a scientific efficacy evaluation.Results:1.There was no statistical significance in gender,age,BMI and other basic information between 2 groups before treatment(P>0.05).2.Before treatment,there were no statistically significant differences in VAS score,WOMAC score(pain score,stiffness score,difficulty in daily activities score and total score)and knee circumference between the two groups(P>0.05),indicating that the two groups were comparable.After 2 weeks of treatment,scores of knee pain degree,stiffness degree and difficulty in daily activities in experimental group and control group were significantly improved compared with those before treatment,with statistical significance(P<0.05).Compared with the control group,there were no statistically significant differences in the VAS score,WOMAC score,pain and stiffness score,and knee swelling degree in the experimental group(P>0.05),but there were statistically significant differences in the difficulty of daily activities and WOMAC total score(P<0.05).3.After 4 weeks of treatment,WOMAC score of pain,stiffness and difficulty in daily activities in both experimental group and control group were significantly improved compared with that before treatment,with statistical significance(P<0.05).Compared with the control group,there were no statistically significant differences in VAS score and WOMAC score for pain degree(P>0.05),but there were statistically significant differences in knee stiffness degree,difficulty in daily activities,WOMAC total score and knee circumference(P<0.05).4.After 4 weeks of treatment,the total effective rate of the experimental group was 86.67%,which was significantly higher than that of the control group(64.52%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Sishen Decoction and Quzhi Decoction for the treatment of liver and kidney deficiency type KOA can effectively alleviate clinical symptoms,improve joint function and improve the quality of life of patients,with good safety,and is worthy of clinical promotion.
