Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Lumbar Disc Herniation By Meridian Massage Of Zhuang Medicine Tuina

Objective: Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of the Zhuang medicine in the treatment of Lumbar Disc Herniation(LDH),and compare their differences,so as to promote the application of Zhuang medicine muscle massage in the treatment of Lumbar Disc Herniation.Methods:According to the"Standards for the Diagnostic Efficacy of Chinese Medicine Certificates"compiled by the State Ad分钟istration of Traditional Chinese Medicine,the diagnostic standards for this subject have been formulated,90 patients with LDH were enrolled and randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group(48 cases each),The treatment group was treated with meridian massage of Zhuang medicine Tuina,and the control group was treated with conventional massage(by referring to Massage Iatreusiology published by People’s Medical Publishing House).Once a day,for 6 consecutive days as a course of treatment,a total of 2 courses.The changes of the simplified Mc Gill score scale(including pain rating index PRI,visual analogue scale VAS and present pain intensity PPI)and JOA questionnaire before and after treatment were observed was used as clinical observation indexes.Then the curative effect of the two groups was evaluated.Results:1.Before treatment,the difference of general information(sex,age and course of treatment),the simplified Mc Gill score and JOA questionnaire score between the two groups had no statistical significance(P> 0.05)after chi-square test and t test,with comparability between the two groups.2.After treatment,in the observation group(45 patients),there were 25 patients who were basically healed,17 patients with marked effect,and 3patients without effect,with total effective rate of 100%.While,in the control group(45 patients),there were 20 patient who were basically healed,19 patients with marked effect,and 6 patients without effect,with total effective rate of 93.33%.The clinical curative effects between the two groups of patients show no significant difference(P>0.05)after rank sum test.3.Compare the score between the two groups in the JOA questionnairescore that three times(before the treatment,after 7 days,after 14days)found that significantly higer than the baseline values.The scores were significant differences between two group.4.Compare the score between the two groups in the simplified Mc Gill(PRI、VAS、PPI)score that three times(before the treatment,after 7 days,after14 days)found that significantly lower than the baseline values,The scores were significant differences between two group.Conclusions:1.Two treatment options can effectively treat the Lumbar Disc Herniation and improve the quality of the life of patients.The overall effective rate of terating by Zhuang medicine Tuina show no significant difference between the two groups.2.The research of this topic confirms that the Meridian massage of Zhuang medicine Tuina has its great advantage in alleviating pain and elevating quality of life of Lumbar Disc Herniation,the treatment with national characteristics and has the significance of promoting clinical application.
