The Clinical Study On Treating Mildto Moderate Depression Of Liver Qi Stagnation By Medicine Separated Moxibustion Navel Combined With Electroacupuncture Therapy

Objective: To observe the clinical effect of medicine separated moxibustion navel combined with electroacupuncture and electroacu-puncture on mild to moderate depression(liver qi stagnation type).Analyze and compare the difference of symptom improvement and curative effect before and after treatment of two methods.To explore the mechanism of treating mild to moderate depression(liver qi stagnation type)by medicine separated moxibustion navel combined with electroacupuncture,and to explore a new therapeutic idea for the clinical treatment of this disease.Methods: 60 patients with liver qi stagnation type mild to moderate depression were randomly divided into treatment group and control group.There are 30 patients in each group.The treatment group was treated with medicine separated moxibustion navel combined with electroacupunture,while the control group was treated with electroacupucture.Patients in each group were treated twice a week for 3 months.The changes of the score of the Hamilton Depression Scale(24-item version)and the score of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndrome scale before and after treatment in the two group were statistically analyzed to compare the improvement of depression symptoms and their differences before and treatment.Results: 1.The overall curative effect between the two group was significantly different(p﹤0.05).The total effective rate was 93.33% in the group of medicine separated moxibustion navel combined with electroacupuncture,and 86.21% in the group of electroacupuncture.It indicates that the clinical efficacy of medicine separated moxibustion navel combined with electroacupuncture is better than that of electroacupuncture.2.Two groups were compared within the group,the changes of Hamilton Depression Scale score and TCM syndrome scale score before and after treatment has a very significant different(p﹤0.01).Comparison between the two groups showed that there were very significant differenecs in the score of Hamilton Depression Scale and TCM syndrome scale before and afer treatment(p﹤0.01).It shows that medicine separated moxibustion navel combined with electroacupuncture has more advantage in improving the score of Hamilton depression scale and TCM syndrome.Conclusion: The treatment of mild to moderate depression(liver qi stagnation type)by medicine separated moxibustion navel combined with electroacupuncture has a significant effect,which is an effective method to treat mild to moderate depression,worthy of clinical promotion and application.
