| Objective: To evaluate the therapeutic effect of "New five thorns" Mao-needing method in the treatment of hyperplasia of mammary gland by comparing the clinical effect of "New five thorns" Mao-needing method with conventional acupuncture,in order to provide a new therapeutic idea and acupuncture therapy for the clinic. Methods: A total of 66 women with breast hyperplasia meeting the standards were included. In the end,61 effective cases were completed, including 31 cases in the burr method group and 30 cases in the conventional acupuncture group. The time of acupuncture treatment was set as one week before the beginning of each menstruation, once every other day,3 times/course of treatment, and the treatment cycle was 3 courses in total.VAS score and symptom scale score were counted before and after treatment and after one course of treatment to compare the difference of clinical efficacy between the two groups.Results:1.The overall effective rate of the Mao-needing method group was 87.10%,while that of the conventional acupuncture group was 76.67%.There was no statistically significant difference(P>0.05),indicating that the Mao-needing method of "New five thorns" had the same effect as conventional acupuncture.2.Before treatment, there were no statistically significant differences in age, course of disease,VAS score, total symptom score, major symptom score(including pain and mass),and minor symptom score(total score and various minor symptom scores)between the two groups(P>0.05),indicating that the basic conditions of the two groups were the same, which could be compared.3.Intra-group comparison: Before treatment and after a course of treatment,VAS score and pain score of major symptoms were improved in 2 groups, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The total symptom score of the burr group was statistically significant different(P<0.05),but the routine acupuncture group showed no difference(P BBB 0 0.05).There was no statistical significance in the mass of main symptoms, the total score of secondary symptoms and the scores of various secondary symptoms(P>0.05).Before and after treatment, all scores were improved, with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).4.Intergroup comparison: Before treatment and after a course of treatment,VAS score, total symptom score and pain score of main symptoms were improved between the two groups, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).There was no statistical significance in the mass of main symptoms, the total score of secondary symptoms and the scores of various secondary symptoms(P>0.05).After treatment, there was no statistically significant difference in the scores except for the minor symptoms of emotional depression, flank distention and blood stasis(P>0.05).Conclusion: The Mao-needing method of "New five thorns" is as effective as conventional acupuncture in the treatment of mammary gland hyperplasia. However,in terms of reducing pain degree in a short time, the Mao-needing method of "New five thorns" is better than the conventional acupuncture group, and it has a significant effect on improving the symptoms of poor mood, bilatinous distension and blood stasis, and has the advantages of less but precise acupoint selection, superficial depth of acupuncture, easy to accept by patients, etc. |
