Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Xiaqi Decoction For Middle And Advanced Non-small Cell Lung Cancer With Chemotherapy-related Fatigue

ObjectiveThe purpose of this study is to summarize and analyze the clinical study of Xiaqi decoction in the treatment of cancer-related fatigue(cancer-related fatigue,CRF)of advanced non-small cell lung cancer,observe the scientific efficacy and protection of Xiaqi decoction in the therapy of CRF,and objectively evaluate the medical efficacy and drug protection of Xiaqi decoction in the treatment of NSCLC.MethodsSixty patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer who met the enrollment criteria were randomly divided into a test group and a control group,with 30 cases in each group.The control group was given anti-vomiting,liver and stomach treatments on the day of chemotherapy to reduce and prevent side effects of chemotherapy.At the same time,according to the general condition of the patient and the symptoms and conditions that appear in the treatment process,the corresponding treatment,including nutritional support,health guidance,psychological counseling,functional exercise,etc.The test group was given Xiaqitang granules orally on the basis of the control group.Both groups of patients were treated continuously for one cycle of chemotherapy.Before and after treatment,the two groups of patients were evaluated by comprehensive fatigue score(BFI-C),anorexia grading score,TCM lung cancer symptom grading score,and KPS score(KPS)to assess their daily life.Compare the clinical efficacy of the two groups of patients and record the adverse reactions.Results1.By comparing the BFI-C scores after treatment,the comprehensive fatigue rankings of the experimental team and the control team decreased.Compared with before treatment,the difference was significant(P<0.01).According to the difference of BFI-C between the two groups of patients after treatment Comparison of values proved that the experimental group had better curative effect in comprehensive fatigue treatment than the control group(P<0.01).2.After treatment,the appetite loss scores of the two groups of patients were reduced compared with those before treatment,with significant distinction(P<0.01),but the difference between the groups was not significant(P>0.05),indicating that both groups of drugs can enhance appetite,and The effect is similar,but the test group has a slower appetite decrease than the control group(P<0.01).3.After treatment,the symptom grading score of lung cancer in both groups decreased,and there was significant difference compared with that before treatment,but there was no sizeable difference between the two groups(P>0.05),suggesting that the curative effect of the two groups was similar,however the difference in the test group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.01).It is suggested that the test group can effectively improve the symptoms of lung cancer in the course of treatment of CRF.4.After treatment,there was a significant distinction in the KPS scores of the two groups of patients after treatment,suggesting that the KPS scores of the two groups of patients decreased after chemotherapy(P<0.01).According to the comparison of the KPS difference between the two groups of patients after treatment,the test group can improve the quality of life of the patients more significantly than the control group(P<0.01).5.After treatment,the WBC,HGB,and PLT of the two groups of patients were decrease than before treatment(P<0.01),and the distinction was significant,proving the existence of bone marrow suppression by chemotherapy.However,the WBC,HGB,and PLT decreased more significantly in the control group(P<0.01),suggesting that the test group can slow down the incidence of bone marrow suppression to a certain extent.6.During the study period,there was no significant change in the safety indicators of the two groups of patients.The incidence of adverse reactions in the control group was 39.29%and that in the test group was 17.24%,suggesting that Xiaqi Decoction is safer.ConclusionXiaqi Decoction and modern medical treatment have certain effects in improving fatigue,loss of appetite,TCM lung cancer symptoms,KPS and reducing the incidence of bone marrow suppression in CRF patients.In terms of improving appetite loss and symptoms of lung cancer in TCM,Xiaqi Decoction has the same effect as modern medicine,but in terms of improving TCM syndromes,Xiaqi Decoction has a significant effect.Xiaqi Decoction had no obvious adverse reactions during the study,and it had no side effects such as damage to liver and kidney function,and its safety was higher(P<0.05).
