| ObjectiveThis study aims to observe the clinical effect of Hui needling at Meridian-muscle Nodes in the treatment of shoulder-hand syndrome phase I after stroke through rigorous scientific design and standardize operation, and compared with traditional acupuncture, then explore the machanism of Hui needling at Meridian-muscle Nodes, for provide theoretical support of Hui needling at meridian-muscle nodes on shoulder-hand syndrome phase I after stroke.MethodsThis study included 74 patients with shoulder hand syndrome phase I after stroke in the randomized controlled study. They were divided evenly to the traditional acupuncture group and the Hui needling at meridian-muscle nodes group.3 cases fell off in the Hui needling at meridian-muscle nodes group,3 cases fell off in the traditional acupuncture group. So eventually the traditional acupuncture group included in 34 cases when the Hui needling at meridian-muscle nodes group included in 34 cases. The loss rates were 8.11%respectively.On the basis of routine treatment, rehabilitation training and routine acupuncture, the Hui needling at meridian-muscle nodes group was given the treatment of searching and Hui needling the Meridian-muscle Nodes at Meridian-muscle of hand Yang and hand Yin.The traditional acupuncture group was given the treatment of needling point Jianyu,Quchi,Waiguan,Hegu,Jianliao,Jianzhen. Both groups of acupuncture treatment for 1 time everyday in six consecutive days for one course,Sunday rest, treatment course 2 weeks. Before and after the treatment, the visual analogue scale(VAS),simplified FuglMeyer motor function scale(FMA),the upper limb swelling score and clinical efficacy were recorded and compared by SPSS 23.0 software.Results1.The VAS score:Before the treatment, there was no significant difference in the VAS score between two groups(P>0.05).After the treatment, the VAS scores between the traditional acupuncture group and the Hui needling at meridian-muscle nodes group showed significant differences(P<0.05).Compared with the traditional acupuncture group, the difference before and after treatment was also statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that the easing of pain was more obvious at the Hui needling at meridian-muscle nodes group.2.The upper limb swelling score:Before the treatment, there was no significant difference in the upper limb swelling score between two groups(P>0.05).After the treatment, the upper limb swelling scores between the traditional acupuncture group and the Hui needling at meridian-muscle nodes group showed significant differences(P<0.05).Compared with the traditional acupuncture group, the difference before and after treatment was also statistically significant(P<0.05).It showed that the Hui needling at meridianmuscle nodes group is more effective in reducing upper limb swelling.3.The FMA score:Before the treatment, there was no significant difference in the FMA score between two groups(P>0.05).After the treatment, there were significant differences in the FMA score between the traditional acupuncture group and the Hui needling at meridian-muscle nodes group(P<0.05),Compared with the traditional acupuncture group, the difference before and after treatment was also statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that the Hui needling at meridian-muscle nodes group had a more significant effect on improving the motor function of the affected limb.4.The clinical efficacy:After 2 weeks of treatment, the total effective rate was 88.24%in the Hui needling at meridian-muscle nodes group, included 8 cured cases,12 markedly effective cases,10 effective cases and 4 ineffective cases. In the traditional acupuncture group, the total effective rate was 73.53%,included 4 cured cases,7 markedly effective cases,14 effective cases and 9 ineffective cases.Compared with the traditional method group, the clinical efficacy of the the Hui needling at meridian-muscle nodes group was significantly different(P<0.05).It can be inferred that both groups had good clinical efficacy after 2 weeks of treatment, but the clinical efficacy of the group using the Hui needling at meridian-muscle nodes was better.ConclusionResearch shows that compared with the traditional method group, the group using the Hui needling at meridian-muscle nodes showed more significant effect on easing of pain, reducing upper limb swelling, improving the motor function of the affected limb, and better clinical efficacy. Therefore, the Hui needling at meridian-muscle nodes for treating shoulder-hand syndrome phase I after stroke is better than traditional method. |
