| Objective: To observe the effect of Banxia Xiexin Decoction on blood sugar,IR,LPS and MTL in newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes mellitus.Methods: 60 newly diagnosed patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus were randomly divided into observation group and control group(30 cases each).The control group was given metformin sustained-release tablets orally.The observation group was given Banxia Xiexin Decoction on the basis of metformin sustained-release tablets orally.The changes of HBAlc,HOMA-IR,LBP and MTL in the two groups after 12 weeks of treatment were observed.Result: After treatment,HOMA-IR,LBP,MTL in the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment(P < 0.05),and there was no significant difference between the two groups(P > 0.05),but the HOMA-IR index in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P < 0.05),while the LBP and MTL in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P < 0.05).After treatment,Hb Alc in both groups was significantly lower than that before treatment(P < 0.05),while Hb Alc in observation group was significantly lower than that in control group(P < 0.05).After treatment,TG in the two groups was significantly lower than that before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in TC,TG,HDL-C and LDL-C between the two groups.After treatment,the scores of TCM syndromes in the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment,while those in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P < 0.05).After treatment,the effective rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P < 0.05).Conclusion: Banxia Xiexin Decoction can improve insulin resistance,reduce blood sugar and reduce the levels of LBP and MTL in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients with gastric qi disharmony. |
