Objective:In order to evaluate the clinical efficacy of Zhongfeng mixture and study its mechanism. In this study,we observed the effect of Zhongfeng mixture on the improvement of neurological deficit,self-care ability of daily life, muscle strength score of extremities,TCM syndrome of ischemic stroke patients with Qi deficiency and blood stasis, and the changes of serum thrombin time, platelet number, blood lipid and other indicators. Methods:A total of 141 patients were hospitalized at YangZhou Municipal Hospital of traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2019 to December 2020 and diagnosed with ischemic stroke with Qi deficiency and blood stasis evidence,of which a total of 102 cases met the inclusion criteria for this study.Finally,90 cases with complete data were collected,45 cases in each group.Patients in the control group were given clinical stroke basic treatment+placebo orally;patients in the experimental group were given basic treatment+Zhongfeng mixture orally, and both groups were given continuous medication for 14 days. The NIHSS score,Barthel index, limb muscle strength score,TCM evidence score, blood, urine, stool routine, biochemistry, coagulation function, electrocardiogram and other index changes were compared between the two groups before and after treatment and statistically analyzed. Results:A total of 141 cases were collected in this study,of which 102 cases met the criteria of this study,2 cases were discontinued due to exacerbation of other diseases,10 cases were discharged due to refusal of medication or early discharge, and 90 cases were finally collected with complete data.1.Baseline data:There was no significant difference in age between the two groups(72.71±9.228 vs,71.96±12.919;P>0.05).The gender composition of the patients in both groups was the same, with 27 males and 18 females, with no differences. There was no significant difference in the past medical history between the two groups(P>0.05);2.Between groups after treatment:the NISS scores of patients in the test group were significantly lower than those of the control group after treatment, with statistically significant differences(3.51±2.694 vs 1.98±1.234;P<0.05);the Barthel scores of patients in the test group were significantly higher than those of the control group, with statistically significant differences(79.31±11.94 vs 84.87±15.76;P<0.05);the Chinese medicine evidence score was significantly lower in the test group than in the control group, with a statistically significant difference(6.84±4 vs 4.58±2.792;P<0.05);the prothrombin time was significantly higher in the test group than in the control group, with a statistically significant difference(16.03±1.827 vs 16.03±1.827;P<0.05);the differences between the treated patients in both groups in terms of limb muscle strength score, platelet count, total cholesterol, triglyceride and low-density lipoprotein, were not statistically significant(P>0.05);3.In-group conditions before and after treatment:the NIHSS score,Barthel score, before and after treatment of patients in the test and control groups, the TCM evidence score, limb muscle strength score, prothrombin time, platelet count, total cholesterol, triglycerides and LDL were statistically significant between the two groups(P<0.05);4.The difference between the TCM efficacy of the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05)The difference between the Western efficacy of the two groups was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion:Zhongfeng mixture was effective in improving patients’ neurological function,self-care ability, and TCM symptoms, but had limited effect on improving blood lipids and limb muscle strength. The above obviously improved indexes may be the way for Zhongfeng mixture to improve the symptoms of patients.
