ObjectiveTo develop Knowledge,attitude and practice questionnaire of reproductive system safety among radiation department staff;and to analyze the current status of the knowledge,behavior,attitude of reproductive system protection and their influencing factors in radiation department staff for improving the understanding of the hazards of ionizing radiation and correctly using protective measures and for providing the basis for the protection of occupational diseases.Methods(1)Depth interview was used to interview the medical and nursing staff in the Department of radiology,and to establish the item pool of Knowledge,attitude and practice questionnaire on reproductive system safety among radiation department staff.Delphi expert letters were used to delete and modify the items to form the initial questionnaire based on Knowledge,attitude and Practice theory.(2)The project analysis and exploratory factor analysis,Test retest reliability,Cronbach’s α coefficient,content validity and confirmatory factor analysis were used to test the reliability and validity of the scale,and form an applied version of the scale.A questionnaire survey was conducted among 241 Radiology staff to analyze their knowledge,attitude and practice of reproductive system safety protection and their influencing factors.(3)All the data were analyzed by SPSS23.0.The measurement data in accordance with the normal distribution are calculated by means ±standard deviation,which does not conform to normal distribution,is described by median(interquartile interval);The count data and grade data were described by the number of cases(constituent ratio).Student’s t test or ANOVA test were used for univariate analysis,and multiple linear regression was used for multivariate analysis.Results(1)Three main categories and eight sub categories of knowledge source,individual cognition and radiation damage were obtained by the depth interview and coding analysis of the interview content;and the main influencing factors of radiation protection knowledge formation in radiology medical and nursing personnel were obtained.Combined the depth interview with the relevant literature review,an item pool with 110 items were finally formed.After the discussion of the research group,the unimportant items were deleted or modified,and the questionnaire of 53 items in three dimensions was finally prepared.By two rounds of expert consultation,three items were modified,six items were merged into two items,and seven items were deleted.Finally,a questionnaire with 42 items in three dimensions was developed.(2)The items were screened by critical ratio method and correlation analysis,five common factors were formed by factor analysis,and the cumulative variance contribution rate was 62%.The load of all items ranged from 0.431 to 0.935.The first edition of "Knowledge,attitude and practice questionnaire on reproductive system safety among radiologists" was formed.There were 5 dimensions and 28 items including relevant knowledge,working status,radiation protection,radiation injury and self behavior.(3)Through reliability analysis,Test retest reliability: The test-retest reliability coefficient was 0.886,the half coefficient of the total scale was0.594,and the total scale Cronbach’s α coefficient was 0.890.Content validity analysis: the I-CVI values of the scale ranged from 0.8 to 1.0,and the S-CVI value was 0.933,the initial model was established with confirmatory factor analysis.Then,according to the revised proposal,the model was rebuilt.The analysis results showed that the chi square /degree of freedom value was 1.564,the goodness of fit index was 0.8,the comparative fit index was 0.9,and the root mean square error of approximation was 0.75.(4)Among 241 Radiology staff,the total score of the scale was related to gender,the lowest score was 46,the highest score was 110,and the average score was(89.94 ± 14.17).It was impacted by weekly working hours,personal income,weekly exercise,physical condition and the positive degree of answering questions.The higher the income was,the better the physical condition and the enthusiasm of answering open questions were,and the higher the enthusiasm of working attitude was.The better the physical condition was,the higher the enthusiasm of answering questions was,and the better the radiation protection behavior was.The higher the enthusiasm of answering questions was,the higher the degree of mastering radiation related knowledge was.Conclusions(1)"The questionnaire of Knowledge,attitude and practice for reproductive system safety in radiology staff" inculdes 5 dimensions and28 items with good reliability and validity.(2)The status of reproductive system safety protection in the radiology staff is in the medium level.It needs to be further strengthened.(3)The main influencing factors of knowledge,attitude and practice of reproductive system safety protection in the radiology staff were gender,personal income,physical condition,and positive degree of answering questions.
