A Retrospective Study On The Effect Of Huatan Huoxue Kuanxiong Formula Combined With Foot Bath Of Traditional Chinese Medicine On Unstable Angina Pectoris

Objective: A retrospective study on the treatment of unstable angina pectoris of coronary heart disease(phlegm and blood stasis syndrome)with Huatan Huoxue Kuanxiong formula and foot bath of traditional Chinese Medicine,which was to explore the clinical effect of Huatan Huoxue Kuanxiong formula combined with foot bath of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of such diseases and to provide further ideas and methods for clinical treatment of such diseases.Materials and Methods: A total of 150 patients were selected from the cardiovascular department of Hebei Hospital of traditional Chinese medicine from September 2017 to September 2019,who met the inclusion criteria,which were diagnosed as unstable angina pectoris of coronary heart disease by western medicine,chest arthralgia and heartache by traditional Chinese medicine(phlegm and blood stasis syndrome)by traditional Chinese Medicine.According to the different clinical treatment plan,the patients were divided into three groups.Group A(34 cases)was the control group,which was given conventional western medicine treatment;B and C as treatment group,Group B(66 cases)was treated with Huatan Huoxue Kuanxiong formula on the basis of conventional western medicine;Group C(50 cases)was treated by western medicine,combined with Huatan Huoxue Kuanxiong formula and foot bath of traditional Chinese medicine.All the collected medical records have complete case data.The way of reading cases and telephone follow-up is adopted.The collected information includes the changes of TCM symptoms,angina pectoris attack and ECG ST-T before and after admission.The telephone follow-up includes the angina attack,nitroglycerin stop rate and readmission rate of patients treated by western medicine alone,then integrated Chinese and Western medicine.All data will be analyzed and processed by statistical software.Results:1.General data: including gender,age,course of disease,basic diseases,the results showed no statistical difference(P>0.05).It is comparable.2.After treatment,the total score of TCM symptoms,TCM syndrome effect,angina pectoris effect,ECG effect and nitroglycerin reduction rate of the three groups were statistically significant(P<0.05),and the effect of group C was better than that of group A and B.3.The rehospitalization rates within half a year were compared among the three groups.After statistical analysis,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),and group C was significantly lower than group A and B.4.Before and after treatment,the general vital signs of all patients were stable,and there was no significant difference in the detection of safety indexes such as liver function and renal function before and after treatment(P>0.05).Conclusions: On the basis of Western medicine,Huatan Huoxue Kuanxiong formula combined with foot bath of traditional Chinese medicine can improve the clinical symptoms,angina pectoris attack,improve the electrocardiographic effect,reduce the amount of nitroglycerin and reduce the rate of rehospitalization within half a year.The curative effect is better than that of Western medicine alone and Western medicine plus oral Chinese medicine,which shows that the effect of internal and external treatment is better and the safety is good.
