ObjectiveThe efficacy of probiotics combined with polyene phosphatidylcholine in the treatment of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease was analyzed by meta-analysis in a randomized controlled clinical trial.MethodsAccording to the systematic evaluation method stipulated by the Cochrane assistance network, appropriate inclusion and exclusion criteria were formulated,CNKI,wanfang database,VIP,Chinese biomedical database,Pubmed,Cochrane,Embase and Web of science were retrieved, randomized controlled clinical trials on the efficacy of probiotics combined with polyene phosphatidylcholine in the treatment of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease which meet the requirements were included.ResultsAfter reweighting and screening,a total of 12 retrieved literatures were included, all of which were in Chinese, among which 11 were journal articles and one was academic dissertation.A total of 1503 subjects were included,802 subjects were included in the observation group and 701 subjects were included in the control group. After assessing by the Cochrane risk bias assessment form, the overall risk of the literature was low,but the risk causes of most of the literature were unclear.Data were synthesized and analyzed by using Revman5.3 software, sensitivity analysis by Stata14.1 software, and publication bias detection by Egger’s method.Statistical results: compared with the control group(The control group took polyene phosphatidylcholine orally),probiotics combined with polyene phosphatidylcholine in the observation group significantly improved the liver function of patients with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(P < 0.05),lipid level(P < 0.05),endotoxin level(P < 0.05),inflammatory factor level(P < 0.05),and insulin resistance level(P < 0.05).There was no significant effect on HDL and BMI(P >0.05).The detection results of publication bias showed that ALT,AST,TC and TG had publication bias(P < 0.1),which reflected the possible publication bias in the whole study. The results of sensitivity analysis showed that the estimated value of all the literature results included in each indicator fell within the range of confidence interval,so the single literature included in each indicator had no significant influence on the stability of the combined results.ConclusionProbiotics combined with polyene phosphatidylcholine can significantly improve the liver function, blood lipid, endotoxin, inflammatory factors and insulin resistance of patients with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.
