Therapeutic Effect Of Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu Decoction On Numbness Of Residual Lower Limbs After Decompression Of Lumbar Disc Herniation

Objective:By observing the changes of various scores and indicators before and after treatment of patients with residual lower limb numbness after lumbar disc herniation by Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu Tang Jiawei The clinical efficacy of the patient.Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu Decoction is used less in clinical practice,and other prescriptions such as Duhuo Parasitic Decoction and Buyang Huanwu Decoction are used more to relieve postoperative pain.The definite curative effect on the recovery of nerve function makes clinical treatment of patients with residual lower limb numbness after lumbar disc herniation a new treatment plan,which is worthy of further research and clinical promotion.Method:Sixty patients with numbness in the lower extremities after lumbar spine surgery were performed in Jiangxi Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from July 2018 to July 2019,inform patients about trial considerations,the patients were randomly divided into a certain group using the random number table method after signing the informed consent,30 subjects in each group and recorded as treatment group and control group.There were no significant differences in age,gender,and duration of disease between the two groups of patients.There were no significant differences in the scores and tibial nerve conduction velocity between the two groups before treatment.During the treatment ofthe treatment group,patients were rested in bed and routinely treated after surgery,and exercised daily.On this basis,take Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu Decoction with flavor for treatment,the prescription uses the traditional Chinese medicine captured by the Chinese pharmacy of our hospital,and the decoction package made by the pharmacy of our hospital.One half bag,one morning and one evening,15 days is a course of treatment,taking 2months.Adjustments should be made during the treatment process,not to stick to one side until the end.Patients in the control group also took mecobalamin tablets on the basis of routine treatment after surgery,1tablet 3 times a day for 15 days as a course of treatment for 2 months.The rest of the treatment process is completely the same in both groups and close observation of patients for adverse reactions during treatment,etc.Continuous treatment for 2 months in both groups.Observe the numbness VAS score,muscle strength score,and tibial nerve conduction velocity before and after treatment.Result:(1)Numb VAS score analysis:The patient’s numbness VAS score decreased after two treatments,but before 1 month of treatment,the scores in the test group decreased more significantly and there were statistical differences;After 1 month of treatment,there was no statistical difference in the scores of the two groups.(2)Analysis of lower limb muscle strength:After the two groups of patients were treated,their muscle strength scores increased,but the test group’s scores increased more significantly and there was a statistical difference before 1 month of treatment;After 1 month of treatment,there was no statistical difference in the scores of the two groups.(3)Analysis and comparison of tibial nerve conduction velocity:After the two groups of treatment,the tibial nerve conduction speed of the patients accelerated,but before the treatment for 1 month,theacceleration of the test group was more obvious and there were statistical differences;After 1 month of treatment,there was no statistical difference in the scores of the two groups.(4)Efficacy analysis:Patients in both groups were followed up after3 months of treatment,the effective rate and significant rate of the control group were 90.0% and 73.3%,and the effective rate and significant rate of the experimental group were 93.3% and 80.0%.The difference is not statistically significant.Conclusion:(1)Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu Decoction is a good way to treat the numbness of the remaining lower limbs after lumbar disc herniation;(2)Compared with mecobalamin,Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu Decoction has better short-term efficacy,but there is no significant difference between long-term efficacy and mecobalamin.
