Clinical Effect Of Yiqi Huoxue Mingmu Formula Combined With Acupuncture On Ischemic Optic Neuropathy

Objective: Observe the changes of visual acuity,visual field,and TCM symptoms of patients with ischemic optic neuropathy before and after self-made Yiqi Huoxue Mingmu Decoction combined with acupuncture,and evaluate its efficacy.Methods: A total of 48 patients with 56 eyes diagnosed with ischemic optic neuropathy and dialectic qi deficiency and blood stasis were selected from our hospital’s ophthalmology department from September 2017 to September 2019.The patients were divided into two randomized groups,a control one and a treatment one,with 24 patients each(28 Eyes),the two groups were treated with conventional western medicine such as hormones,compound anisodamine,and nutritional neuromedicine.The treatment group was treated with acupuncture by Yiqi Huoxue Mingmu Recipe and oral acupuncture for 15 days as a course of treatment.Six courses of treatment were used to observe and compare the changes in visual field,vision,TCM syndrome scores and total effective rate before and after treatment in the two groups for statistical comparison.Results: The actual number of completed cases was 46(52 eyes)were completed.23(26 eyes)were completed in the treatment group and the control group respectively.1.Comparison of visual acuity,visual field defect and TCM syndrome changes between the two groups: comparison of visual acuity,visual field defect and TCM symptom score changes before and after treatment,p value is less than 0.05,indicating that both groups can improve symptoms after treatment,and the longer the treatment time The better.2.Analysis of the total effective rate of treatment in the two groups:After 15 days and 30 days of treatment,the total effect is analyzed P> 0.05,the difference between the two groups was not statistically significant.The total therapeutic effect at 60 days and 90 days,After statistical analysis,P <0.05,the difference is statistically significant,both groups can improve symptoms,but the treatment group has better efficacy.3.Analysis of visual acuity and visual field between the two groups: After 15 and 30 days of treatment,the visual changes of the two groups were compared,there was no significant difference between the two groups(P> 0.05).At 60 and 90 days of treatment,the change in visual acuity was statistically significant(P <0.05),the visual acuity improvement in the treatment group was significantly better than the control group.The visual field changes of the two groups were compared at 15 days of treatment.After statistical analysis,the difference between the two groups was not statistically significant(P> 0.05).At 30,60,and 90 days of treatment,the visual field defects of the two groups changed.Statistical significance(P <0.05),shows that visual field improvement in the treatment group was significantly better.4.Analysis of changes in TCM scores before and after treatment in the two groups There was no statistical significance;the P values of fatigue and dizziness and headache were all less than 0.05,the treatment group for fatigue and dizziness and headache was better than using western medicine alone.After 60 days and 90 days of treatment,the symptom scores of the two groups of patients were statistically analyzed,and the P value of each TCM symptom score was less than0.05,there was a statistically significant difference in the change of TCM symptom score between the two groups,and the treatment group improved.Obviously better than the control group.Comparison of curative effects of TCM symptoms at 30 days,60 days,and 90 days.The p-values were all less than 0.05 by rank sum test,indicating that the differences in the symptoms of TCM between the two groups were statistically significant.Significantly.Conclusion:1.Self-made Yiqi Huoxue Mingmu Recipe combined with acupuncturecombined with conventional western medicine can effectively treat ischemic optic neuropathy,and its effect is better than using western medicine alone;2.The self-designed Yiqi Huoxue Mingmu formula combined with acupuncture and Western medicine conventional drug treatment is better than western medicine alone in the recovery of patients’ vision,vision,improvement of patients’ symptoms and shortening the course of disease.3.Acupuncture combined with medicine can significantly improve the TCM Syndromes of patients with ischemic optic neuropathy,and the longer the treatment time,the more obvious the improvement.4.On the basis of conventional western medicine treatment,the self-made Yiqi Huoxue Mingmu Decoction combined with acupuncture for the treatment of ischemic optic neuropathy is worth promoting,because of it has no adverse reactions,is safe and effective.
