| Objective: Railway construction is a basic construction in the national development plan.Many railway workers participate in it.The occupational stress status of line engineering personnel was investigated,the differences in occupational stress response of line engineering personnel with different demographic characteristics,behavior characteristics,and work characteristics was analyzed,the factors affecting occupational stress response was understanded,multiple burnout assessment models was explores and evaluated.The research is to better predict the positive status of burnout among this population,screen out key populations for "tertiary prevention",put forward scientific measures to alleviate occupational stress and burnout occurrence and development,and lay a scientific basis to achieve theoretical research and practical application.Methods: Line engineers in three jurisdictions of China Railway Lanzhou Bureau Group Co.,ltd were randomly selected as research objects,and 1034 valid samples were obtained.Occupational stress factors,adjustment factors,and occupational stress responses of line engineers were investigated by occupational stress measurement tools,including job burnout.An Excel worksheet was used to establish a career stress database.SPSS 23.0,Clementine 12.0 and Rstudio3.5.1 were used for data description by Means,standard deviations,and percentages.T-test and analysis of variance were used to compare the differences in occupational stress responses of line engineers between different characteristics.Using partial correlation and multiple stepwise linear regression to analyze the influencing factors of occupational stress response,using binary logistic regression analysis,stepwise discriminant analysis and decision tree CART to build and evaluate burnout assessment models.Result:1.The Cronbach’s coefficient is between 0.804 and 0.980,and the split-half reliability between 0.652 and 0.964,indicating that the questionnaire had good reliability and consistency.2.The role stress score(54.26±6.09)is the highest among line engineering personnel’s occupational stress factors,the highest is the psychological elasticity score(66.17±19.73)among the tension regulating factors,the highest is the work satisfication score(47.47±14.97)among the stress reactions,and the positive rate of burnout is 64.89%.3.There are statistical differences in occupational stress response scores of line engineering personnel(P<0.05):(1)Different demographic characteristics:(1)The scores of physical complaints,daily tension,trait anxiety,and job burnout of male engineering staff are higher than females(P<0.05),and the job satisfaction score is lower than females(P<0.05);(2)The trait anxiety score of line engineering personnel in the <30-year-old age group is higher than that of the ≥50-year-old age group(P<0.05);(3)There is no statistical difference in the occupational stress scores of the line engineering staff with different academic qualifications(P>0.05);(4)The daily stress scores of line engineers in the unmarried group and the married group are lower than those in the divorced or widowed group(P<0.05).The trait anxiety score of line engineers in the unmarried group is higher than that in the married group(P<0.05).(2)Different behavior characteristics:(1)The scores of physical complaints,daily nervousness and trait anxiety of line engineering staff in the never drinking group are lower than those in the regular drinking group(P<0.05),and burnout score is lower than that of the occasional drinking group and the regular drinking group(P<0.05);(2)The scores of complaints and daily stress of the line engineering staff in the non-smoking group are lower than the ≤10 per day group and the >10 per day group(P<0.05),and occupational burnout score is lower than the >10 per day group(P<0.05).(3)Different job characteristics:(1)The trait anxiety score of line engineering personnel with <5 years working seniority is less than ≥25 years(P<0.05),and the daily tension score of line engineering personnel with 5-15 years and 25-25 years is lower than that of the ≥25 years working seniority(P<0.05);(2)The scores of physical complaints,daily tension,trait anxiety and job burnout of line engineering workers working in Tianshui city are lower than those working in Lanzhoun city(P<0.05).The scores of physical complaints and job burnout of line engineering staff working in Dingxi city are lower than those working in Lanzhou city(P<0.05);(3)The body complaints,daily tension,trait anxiety and occupational burnout scores of the linemen are higher than those of power workers(P<0.05),and job satisfaction scores are lower than those of power workers(P<0.05).Job burnout score of workmen is lower than that of rail workers(P<0.05).Trait anxiety scores of plumbers is lower than that of rail workers(P<0.05).Job satisfaction scores of power worker is higher than rail workers(P<0.05),and daily stress,trait anxiety and job burnout scores are lower than rail workers(P<0.05).Job burnout score of rail workers is higher than communication workers(P<0.05);(4)The physical complaints and daily nervousness scores of line engineering staff in permanent white shifts are lower than those in permanent night shift(P<0.05).4.Analysis of influencing factors of occupational stress response of line engineering personnel:(1)Physical complaints: Regression analysis shows that high scores of work danger,job demand,job responsibility,role tension,psychological flexibility,source of work psychological control,social support and type A behavior are risk factors(P<0.05),and self-esteem is a protective factor(P<0.05);(2)Job satisfaction: Regression analysis shows that psychological flexibility,promotion and participation opportunities and work control are risk factors(P<0.05),work danger,work psychological control sources,Work load,work conflict and work demand are protective factors(P<0.05);(3)Daily tension: Regression analysis shows that high scores of work hazards,job needs,psychological flexibility,workload,sources of work psychological control,work control,and social support are risk factors(P<0.05),self-esteem and promotion and participation opportunities as protective factors(P<0.05);(4)Trait anxiety: Regression analysis shows that work hazards,work psychological control sources,social support,role tensions,high workload and work conflict scores are contributing factors(P<0.05),self-esteem,psychological flexibility and job prospects are protective factors(P<0.05);(5)Job burnout: Regression analysis shows that high scores of work danger,work conflict,work needs,work psychological control sources,workload,social support,type A behavior and role tensions are contribution factors(P<0.05),and self-esteem,promotion and participation opportunities,and psychological resilience are protective factors(P<0.05).5.The stress factor,stress regulator and stress response selected for the occupational burnout positive evaluation models of binary logistic regression model,stepwise discriminant analysis model and decision tree CART model are respectively different.The model established by decision tree CART algorithm is better,suitable for the positive evaluation of job burnout of line engineering personnel in this study.The model established by decision tree CART analys is optimal and suitable for the positive assessment of job burnout of line engineers in this study.The model incorporates four variables: daily tension,job satisfaction,trait anxiety,and role tension.The model is simple and the gain is good.The sensitivity and specificity rate are 86.59% and 72.18%,respectively;the area under the ROC curve is 0.824;the misjudgment rate is 0.185.Conclusion: Demographic characteristics,behavior characteristics and work characteristics has certain impact on the occupational stress response of line engineer.Different occupational stress factors cause different reactions to occupational stress,the stress regulating factors can ease the occurrence of occupational stress reaction,and the key lies in reducing work hazards,enhancing worker self-esteem and psychological resilience.Compared with binary logistic regression model and stepwise discriminant model,the decision tree CART model is intuitive and concise,and can predict the positive situation of job burnout in this population.It can focus on four factors including daily tension,job satisfaction,trait anxiety and role tension for prevention and control. |
