| Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of ear-point pressing bean method for alleviating postoperative pain of lower extremity varicose veins, and to observe its effect on the postoperative serum cortisol concentration of patients, and to explore different treatment methods for postoperative pain relief of lower extremity varicose veins. The patient’s pain achieves the goal of improving the quality of life of the patient after surgery. Methods: Sixty-six patients with varicose veins of the lower extremities who were admitted to the People’s Hospital of Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine who met the inclusion criteria were divided into a treatment group and a control group using a random number table.33 cases in each group were admitted to the hospital for routine treatment And surgical treatment.33 cases in each group were treated with conventional hospitalization and surgical treatment.33 patients in the postoperative treatment group received conventional postoperative treatment and ear acupoint pressing therapy, and 33 patients in the control group received conventional postoperative treatment only.At the same time, observe and record the6 h,12h,24 h,48h and 72 h operations of the two groups of patients. The VAS and VRS scores of incision pain were recorded, and the serum cortisol concentration(Cor)of the two groups of patients were recorded in the morning of the operation day,the morning after the operation, and the morning of the third day after the operation. The serum cortisol concentration and the VAS score of the two groups were compared,The correlation of VRS scores, calculate the effective treatment rate and total clinical efficacy evaluation of the two groups of patients. The two groups of cases in this subject were followed up until the patients recovered completely after the operation, and whether there were postoperative complications, recurrence of pain, and the recovery after the operation were recorded. Results:A total of 66 case studies were completed in this project. The gender, age, and number of CEAP classifications of the two groups of patients were compared, and the differences were not statistically significant(P>0.05),and they were comparable. The research results and analysis are as follows:(1)Visual analogue scoring(VAS): The VAS scores of the two groups were compared at 6h after surgery, and there was no significant difference(P>0.05);at 12 h,24h,48 h and 72 h after surgery, the VAS scores of the treatment group were all lower than In the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(2)Language Rating Scale(VRS): The VRS scores of the two groups were compared at 6h after surgery, and there was no significant difference(P>0.05);at 12 h,24h,48 h and 72 h after surgery, the VRS scores of the treatment group were all low In the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(3)Serum cortisol concentration(Cor):(1)There was no significant difference in the serum cortisol concentration of the two groups of patients in the morning of the operation day(P>0.05);(2)The serum cortisol concentration of the two groups of patients in the morning of the first day after surgery, the difference was significant Statistically significant(P<0.05);(3)The difference in serum cortisol concentration of the two groups of patients on the third morning after operation was statistically significant(P<0.05).(4)Correlation of serum cortisol with VAS score and VRS score: The VAS score and VRS score of the two groups were highly correlated with the serum cortisol concentration on the first day after surgery(r>0.7,P<0.05).The VAS scores and VRS scores of the two groups of patients at 72 h after surgery were also highly correlated with the serum cortisol concentration on the third day after surgery(r>0.7,P<0.05).Conclusion: The method of pressing beans on ear acupoints has a good clinical effect on the relief of postoperative pain of lower limb varicose veins, and it has a certain correlation with the decrease of serum cortisol concentration.Auricular pressure bean therapy is in line with the principles of traditional Chinese medicine, and can reduce postoperative pain and improve the quality of life for patients with varicose veins of the lower extremities. At present, many clinical studies have shown that the effect of pressing beans on ear acupoints on pain is definite and impressive, safe and feasible, economical, simple and easy to use,and can be more popularized and applied in clinical practice in the future. |
