Objective:The purpose of this study is to explore the effect of biofeedback and electrical stimulation combined with lifestyle intervention on the improvement of pelvic floor muscle strength in postpartum stress urinary incontinence, and whether it can more actively improve the symptoms of postpartum stress urinary incontinence and provide more effective treatment for patients. Methods: Using the method of randomized controlled study, the puerperae who were diagnosed with mild to moderate stress urinary incontinence in the affiliated Hospital of Yan’an University from December 2018 to December 2020 were divided into test group and control group according to the method of random number table.Patients in both groups received initialpelvic floor EMG assessment and I-QOL urinary incontinence quality of life questionnaire survey, and then received biofeedback combined with electrical stimulation pelvic floor rehabilitation therapy,2-3 times a week,30 minutes at a time,10 times as a course of treatment. On this basis, the test group used network programs,Wechat and other electronic devices to give online and offline lifestyle guidance during each treatment and after returning home. After one course of treatment, pelvic floor EMG assessment and I-QOL urinary incontinence quality of life questionnaire survey were performed again in both groups. Results: Test group and control group each 50 patients had completed treatment and follow-up,there was no significant difference in age, height, maternal BMI,weight gain during pregnancy and birth weight between the two groups(P> 0.05).The pelvic floor EMG voltage in the period of anterior baseline quiescence the test group and the control group before treatment were(5.98±3.25)、(5.90±1.83),in the period of fast muscle contraction were(25.63±5.72)、(24.27±6.88),in the period of comprehensive muscle contraction were(20.44±3.34)、(18.82±5.95),in the period of slow muscle contraction were(18.06±7.99)、(18.31±4.90),in the period of post-baseline calm were(7.55±2.21)、(7.52±2.26),there was no significant difference(P>0.05)。The pelvic floor EMG voltage in the period of anterior baseline quiescence the test group and the control group after treatment were(4.68±1.69)、(5.32±1.31),in the period of fast muscle contraction were(44.81±10.69)、(36.17±9.19),in the period of comprehensive muscle contraction were(34.11±8.12)、(28.42±8.25),in the period of slow muscle contraction were(35.66±10.06)、(27.98±7.60),in the period of post-baseline calm were(3.79±1.58)、(5.35±1.66),there was a significant difference(P<0.05).In the test group and control group in the period of fast muscle contraction after treatment were(17.77±12.07)and(10.05±9.64)higher than that before treatment,in the period of comprehensive muscle contraction were(14.57±12.23)、(7.56±7.56),in the period of slow muscle contraction were(17.60±8.63)、(9.67±4.84),in the period of post-baseline calm were(-3.75±2.36)、(-2.17±2.92),there was a significant difference(P<0.05).In the test group and control group in the period of anterior baseline quiescence after treatment were(-1.30±2.91)、(-0.58±1.89)higher than that before treatment, there was no significant difference(P<0.05).In the test group and control group the I-QOL scores before treatment were all in grade 3,there was no significant difference(P<0.05).In the test group and control group the I-QOL scores after treatment were in grade 4 and grade 3,there was a significant difference(P<0.05).In the test group and control group the I-QOL scores difference after treatment were in grade 3 and grade 2,there was a significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion: Lifestyle intervention can significantly improve the level of pelvic floor strength in patients with postpartum stress urinary incontinence on the basis of biofeedback combined with electrical stimulation;Lifestyle intervention can significantly improve the quality of life of patients with postpartum stress urinary incontinence on the basis of biofeedback combined with electrical stimulation;Lifestyle intervention combined with biofeedback and electrical stimulation is more effective than simple biofeedback combined with electrical stimulation in the treatment of postpartum stress urinary incontinence and is more beneficial to the recovery of pelvic floor muscle function in puerperae.
