ObjectiveBy observing the curative effect of acupuncture and moxibustion combined with biofeedback electric stimulation on postpartum stress incontinence of elderly patients with Shen-Qi-deficiency syndrome, this paper provides an effective treatment idea and a theoretical basis of integrated Traditional Chinese and Western medicine for clinical treatment of postpartum stress incontinence of elderly patients.MethodsFrom January 2021 to December 2021,the subjects of the study were lying-in women who were diagnosed with mild or moderate stress urinary incontinence and TCM syndrome differentiation as syndrome of Shen-Qi-deficiency for 42 days to 3 months elderly postpartum,at the Hospital affiliated to***.Total inclusion of 60 cases.Sixty patients were randomly divided into treatment group and control group with 30 cases in each group by random number method. Both groups were treated with biofeedback electrical stimulation,15 min each time, once every 3 days,a total of 20 times.Treatment group on the basis of biofeedback electric stimulation treatment plus moxibustion Qi Hai,Guan Yuan and Zhong Ji,moxibustion at each acupoint for 8-10 minutes, once every 3 days,a total of 20 times;Shen Shu,Hui Yang,Zu San Li and San Yin Jiao were needled for 25 min, once every 3 days,a total of 20 times. At the end of treatment, the changes of TCM syndrome score,ICI-Q-SF score,Glazer EMG of the two groups were collected for clinical efficacy evaluation.Results1.Comparison of Glazer EMG level in pelvic floorAfter treatment, the maximum value of fast retraction, the mean value of tight retraction and the mean value of durable retraction in the two groups were higher than those before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);The maximum value of fast harvest, the mean value of tight harvest and the mean value of durable harvest in the treatment group were better than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.Comparison of TCM syndrome scoresAfter treatment, the score of TCM syndrome in the two groups decreased compared with that before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The score of TCM syndrome in the treatment group decreased better than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.Comparison of ICI-Q-SF scoreAfter treatment, the ICI-Q-SF scores of the two groups decreased significantly compared with that before treatment(P<0.05).The decrease of ICI-Q-SF score in the treatment group was better than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.Comparison of curative effects of TCM syndromesAfter treatment, there were 30 cases in the control group:1 case was cured,6 cases were markedly effective,17 cases were improved and 6 cases were ineffective. The effective rate was 80%.29 cases in the treatment group:5 cases were cured,12 cases were markedly effective,10 cases were improved and 2 cases were ineffective. The effective rate was 93.10%.The effective rate of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).5.Comparison of curative effects of clinical symptomsAfter treatment, there were 30 cases in the control group:4 cases were cured,21 cases were effective and 5 cases were ineffective. The total effective rate was 83.33%.29 cases in the treatment group:9 cases were cured,19 cases were effective and 1 case was ineffective. The total effective rate was 96.55%.The total effective rate of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).ConclusionUse biofeedback electrical stimulation or acupuncture and moxibustion combined with biofeedback electrical stimulation on Postpartum Stress Urinary Incontinence has therapeutic effect on mild to moderate elderly patients with Shen-Qi-deficiency syndrome. However, acupuncture and moxibustion combined with biofeedback electrical stimulation has a better effect in improving patients’ TCM syndromes, clinical symptoms, the glazer EMG level in pelvic floor(the maximum value of fast retraction, the mean value of tight retraction, the mean value of durable retraction),the recovery of pelvic floor function and quality of life.
