| Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of Huayu Xiaozhi Decoction in treating non-alcoholic fatty liver disease with phlegm and blood stasis,clarify its effectiveness,and promote its clinical application to provide effective prescriptions for traditional Chinese medicine treatment of NAFLD with phlegm and blood stasis.Methods: According to the random number table method,66 cases of NAFLD with phlegm and blood stasis were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,with 33 cases in each group,collected from the Splenogastric Hepatobiliary Outpatient Clinic and Spleen and Stomach Ward of the first hospotical of traditional Chinese medicine in Baoding.While both groups were given basic treatment,patients in the treatment group were treated with Huayu Xiaozhi Decoction and the control group were treated with polyene phosphatidylcholine capsules.The scores of symptoms and syndromesof of traditional Chinese medicine,BMI and liver function(ALT,AST,GGT)were observed for 3 months before and after treatment,blood lipids(TG,TC,HDL-C),abdominal ultrasound and CAP and other indicators to evaluate its effectiveness and safety,draw data and results,and draw conclusions.Results:(1)Among the 66 patients collected,3 cases fell off in the treatment group,3 cases fell off in the control group,and finally 60 cases were collected,30 cases in each group.(2)In terms of TCM syndrome points,the total effective rate of the treatment group was 83.33%.The total effective rate of the control group was56.67%,and the treatment group was better than the control group(P<0.05).(3)In terms of improving liver function,the ALT,AST and GGT of the two groups decreased after treatment.The comparison between the two groups was P<0.05,and the comparison between the two groups was P<0.05.The difference was statistically significant.(4)In improving blood lipid levels,TC and TG decreased,and HDL-C increased in the two groups.The comparison between the two groups of TC and TG within the group,P<0.05,the comparison between the groups,P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant.Comparing the two groups in HDL-C group,P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant.Comparison between groups,P>0.05,the difference was not statistically significant.(5)In the improvement of abdominal ultrasound,the total effective rate of the treatment group was 80.00%.The total effective rate of the control group was 70.00%.After analysis,P>0.05,the difference was not statistically significant.(6)In terms of improving CAP,the total effective rate of the treatment group was 80.00%,and the total effective rate of the control group was 50.00%.After analysis,P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant.(7)In BMI,the BMI values of the two groups decreased.After analysis,P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant.(8)Safety evaluation: During and after the study medication,the two groups of patients have stable vital signs,no obvious adverse reactions,routine blood,urine,and stool,and no obvious abnormalities in electrocardiogram,etc.,Huayu Xiaozhi Decoction and polyene phosphatidyl Choline capsules are safe for the treatment of NAFLD with phlegm and blood stasis.Conclusion: Huayu Xiaozhi Decoction is superior to polyene phosphatidylcholine capsules in the treatment of phlegm and blood stasis type NAFLD in liver function(ALT,AST,GGT)levels,blood lipid indexes(TG,TC),BMI and CAP.It shows that Huayu Xiaozhi Decoction has a significant effect on improving liver function and blood lipid level in treating phlegm and blood stasis type NAFLD.Compared with the control group in terms of improving HDL-C and abdominal B-ultrasound,the difference was not statistically significant;from the scores of symptoms and syndromes in the two groups of TCM,it can be seen that Huayu Xiaozhi Decoction can significantly improve the clinical symptoms of patients and improve Quality of life of patients;Huayu Xiaozhi Decoction is safe and effective in treating NAFLD with phlegm and blood stasis,and can be promoted and applied in clinical practice. |
