| Objective To study the incidence of school bullying among migrant children in Shenzhen.Explore the risk factors for suicide-related behaviors of migrant children.Create a safe and healthy growth environment for the growth of migrant children.Methods From September to December 2019,students from 9 middle schools in Shenzhen,Guangdong Province were taken as the research objects.4 073 valid data were collected.Use MS Office 2019 and SPSS 19.0 software for statistics and analysis.Describe the incidence of school bullying among migrant children and the incidence of suicide-related behaviors(95% confidence interval,95% CI).The incidence of school bullying of migrant children with different demographic characteristics was further compared using the c2 test.The odds ratio(Odds ratio,OR)value and 95% confidence interval were used to analyze the risk factors related to suicide in migrant children;Graphpad 8.0 was used for graphing presentation.The inspection level is α=0.05.Results 4,073 migrant children in Shenzhen participated in this study.Age is 11-18 years old.The average age was 14.13±1.67 years old.Among them,2639 were junior high school students(64.8%),1434 were senior middle school students(35.2%);2262 were males(55.5%),and 1808 were females(44.4%).1.The current situation of campus bullying of migrant children in Shenzhen: 968(23.8%)of migrant children reported that they had been bullied in the past 12 months.Among them,215(5.3%)migrant children were bullied more than twice.In the past 12 months,545 migrant children have bullied others,accounting for 13.4% of all migrant children surveyed.Among them,104(1.6%)migrant children bullied others more than twice.Data shows that among the victims of bullying,we found that 320(33.1%)of the 968 people who were bullied had bullied others as the perpetrators of campus bullying in the past 12 months.2.Analysis of the incidence of suicide-related behaviors and risk factors of migrant children in Shenzhen: The incidence of suicidal ideation among migrant children in Shenzhen was 43.80%;the incidence of non-suicidal self-injury(NSSI)was 21.21%;the incidence of suicide attempts was 10.21%.Victims of school bullying are suicidal ideation(OR=3.04,95% CI: 2.53-3.66),NSSI(OR=2.24,95% CI: 1.82-2.76),suicide attempt(OR=2.73,95%)CI: 2.11-3.53)risk factors for occurrence.In addition,the perpetrators of campus bullying are also suicidal ideation(OR=2.68,95% CI: 2.01-3.57),NSSI(OR=2.44,95% CI: 1.76-3.38),suicide attempt(OR=2.47,95% CI: 1.64-3.72)risk factors for occurrence.Finally,for both perpetrators and victims of campus bullying,the risk of suicidal ideation increased by 3.19 times(95% CI: 2.49-4.09).The risk of NSSI was increased by 3.11 times(95% CI: 2.39-4.05).The risk of suicide attempts increased by 2.9 times(95% CI: 2.09-4.03).Conclusion Among migrant children in Shenzhen,the incidence of bullying is higher in males than females.The incidence of bullying and being bullied among senior middle school students is lower than that of junior middle school students.The occurrence of school bullying of migrant children will affect their suicide-related behaviors to a certain extent.Among migrant children,the perpetrators of school bullying and the victims of school bullying have significantly increased risks of suicidal ideation,nonsuicidal self-harm,and suicide attempts.In addition,Poor family growth environment has a negative impact on campus bullying and suicide-related behavior... |
