Objective:This study aims to gain insight into the post-traumatic growth process of ovarian cancer patients during chemotherapy,analyze how they self-adjust and grow during their growth process,so as to discover the favorable factors and post-traumatic growth that can effectively promote the growth of ovarian cancer patients during chemotherapy Connotation,to provide clinical medical staff with a better understanding of the true psychological history of patients with ovarian cancer during chemotherapy,and to formulate personalized mental health guidance to provide intervention points,in order to shorten the time of post-traumatic growth of patients with ovarian cancer during chemotherapy,and to help the population take the initiative.To the disease,to rebuild the hope of life,and actively survive the chemotherapy period.Methods : From September 2019 to November 2020,using the explanatory phenomenological analysis method in the qualitative study,the 19 cases of chemotherapy period that meet the inclusion and exclusion criteria of this study were selected by purposeful sampling in the gynecological ward of the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University Patients with ovarian cancer(the sample size is based on the saturation of the data)conduct face-to-face semi-structured in-depth interviews,and the interviews are recorded and recorded in conjunction with transcripts.The Smith data analysis method is used to analyze the content of the transcribed word text data and extract the theme.Results : This study recorded 18 interviews and recorded about 102,000 words.An interpretive phenomenological analysis found that there are five main themes in the post-traumatic growth process of ovarian cancer patients.Therefore,the traumatic growth process is divided into five stages:(1)The white lie stage: including three themes of family members concealing their illness,suspicion of their own illness,and eagerness to know their illness.(2)Real-world stage: includes four themes: cancer discoloration stage,disease confusion stage,complaining stage and passive acceptance of the reality stage;(3)Trough collapse period: including fear of chemotherapy,passive acceptance of chemotherapy,painful side effects of chemotherapy,Four themes during the trough period.(4)Resurrection stage: This stage is the key stage for the growth of ovarian cancer patients during chemotherapy.It includes two themes of mentality rebound period and self-adjustment period.There are three sub-themes under the theme of the central state rebound period: the motivation to move forward,trust in medicine and medical staff,and strong desire for survive.There are also three sub-themes under the theme of the self-adjustment period: personality traits(strong will,optimistic attitude),coping styles(active coping,attention diversion,religious relief,humor,venting emotions)and social support(spouse support,children The main factors that promote the growth of patients with ovarian cancer during chemotherapy are personality traits,coping styles and social support.(5)Active growth stage: including five themes of appreciating life,new possibilities,life and death relief,cognitive enhancement,and spiritual transformation.The connotation of post-traumatic growth of ovarian cancer patients is reflected in the appreciation of life,new possibilities,life and death at this stage Five aspects: relief,cognitive enhancement,and spiritual change.In addition,through further interpretation and analysis,it is found that the five stages of traumatic growth have the following five characteristics:(1)The five stages of post-traumatic growth are divided according to the sequence of the occurrence and development of growth,without marking the time point of each stage or the duration of each stage.(2)The five stages of post-traumatic growth are not fixed,immutable and indispensable,that is,ovarian cancer patients do not have to go through the first four stages to enter the growth stage,it can be three stages,two stages,or even one stage.(3)The five stages do not exist independently of each other,but overlap with each other.(4)The character traits,coping styles and social support in the stage of survival more or less run through the real world stage,the collapse stage and the active growth stage.(5)Survival stage is the key stage for ovarian cancer patients to turn to active growth.Conclusions: The connotation of traumatic growth of ovarian cancer patients in chemotherapy stage is reflected in five aspects: appreciation of life,new possibilities,relief of life and death,resurrection stage and spiritual change.The post-traumatic growth process can be divided into five stages: The white lie stage,real-world stage,trough collapse period,active growth stage and active growth stage,but it is worth noting that the five phases is not fixed,rigid,be short of one cannot,can have overlaps between phase and phase,and rescue stage is the key stage of growth of the chemotherapy period in patients with ovarian cancer,the stage of personality traits,coping styles and social support is the main factor promoting growth stage of ovarian cancer chemotherapy patients.Clinical nursing staff can develop personalized nursing measures from three aspects of personality,coping style and social support to help the ovarian cancer population actively face the disease,rebuild life hope,and actively through the chemotherapy period.
