Objective:We examined the correlation between FSHR(follicle stimulating hormone receptor)and VEGF(vascular endothelial growth factor)expressions in villous tissue of patients with early normal pregnancy and recurrent spontaneous abortion(RSA).Methods:Patients with recurrent abortion(RSA group,n = 20)and patients with induced abortion due to unexpected pregnancy(control group,n = 20)in the first hospital of Shanxi Medical University from January 2020 to September 2020 were selected as the research objects.The expression levels of FSHR m RNA and VEGF m RNA in RSA group and control group were detected by RT-PCR.Immunohistochemistry was used to detect the expression of FSHR and VEGF in villi of RSA group and control group.And the data was analyzed with Spss23.0.P< 0.05 was statistically significant.Results:1.The expression of FSHR and VEGF in the villous tissue was found to be mainly observed in the cytoplasm of vascular endothelial cells by immunohistochemistry(IHC),and the gray scale value of FSHR expression in the control group was 195.95±8.30,whereas the gray scale value of VEGF expression in the control group was 204.25±5.25,and that of VEGF expression in the control group was191.35±11.52,compared with200.50±8.07 in the RSA group and both in the villous tissue of the group.FSHR and VEGF showed lowexpression in RSA patients compared to normal controls(P<0.01 and P<0.05,respectively).Furthermore there was a positive correlation between FSHR and VEGF(Cr=0.801,P<0.05).2.The average expression of FSHR m RNA in RSA group was 0.45±0.29,and 1.04±0.11 in the control group.The average expression of VEGF m RNA in RSA group was0.37±0.17,and 1.02±0.07 in the control group by qRT-PCR.It can be seen that the RSA group had significantly lower expressions than the control group at the m RNA level(P <0.05).The expression levels of FSHR and VEGF were significantly lower in RSA cases versus NC cases.Conclusion:1.The exprssions of FSHR and VEGF in the villous tissue are predominantly in the trophoblast and vascular endothelial cell cytoplasm,and their amounts are significantly reduced in the villous tissue of RSA women,presumably correlating with the occurrence of RSA.2.There was a positive correlation between FSHR and VEGF expression,suggesting that there may be a functional relationship between the two,which together participates in the process of embryonic vascularization.
