Clinical Study Of Platelet-rich Plasma Combined With Shengji Yuhong Ointment In Treatment Of Common Chronic Wounds In Orthopedics

Objective: To explore the efficacy of platelet-rich plasma(PRP)combined with Shengjiyuhong ointment in the treatment of common chronic wounds in orthopedics.Methods: Sixty patients with chronic wounds in the orthopedics department of our hospital were randomly divided into observation group and control group,with 30 cases in each group.Patients in the observation group were treated with PRP wound injection(once a week)and combined with external application of Shengji Yuhong ointment(once per day).Patients in the control group were treated with PRP wound injection(once a week)alone.Continuous treatment is not less than 4 weeks.Observe and record in detail the wound area,wound healing index,and granulation tissue score of the patients before treatment and 2 weeks and 4 weeks after treatment.After 4 weeks of treatment,the clinical efficacy of the two groups of patients was evaluated according to the clinical efficacy criteria.For patients who received continuous treatment until they completely healed,the time to complete healing of the wound was recorded in detail,and the patients were followed up to 2 months after the wound was completely healed,and their Vancouver scar scale(VSS)score was recorded.Results: At the time of enrollment,there were no significant differences in gender,age,wound area,wound location,wound damage degree,and main causes of the two groups of patients.All patients were treated as planned,and the results showed:(1)After 4 weeks of treatment,the wound healing index of the observation group was 95.14%±10.54%,and the control group was 66.01%±24.57%,the difference was statistically significant(P ﹤ 0.05).(2)After 4 weeks of treatment,the wound granulation tissue growth score of the observation group was 4.73±0.83 points and that of the control group was 3.37±1.19 points,the difference was statistically significant(P﹤0.05).(3)The wound healing time of the observation group was 4.1±2.14 weeks,and that of the control group was 6.73±3.03 weeks,the difference was statistically significant(P﹤0.05).(4)After 4 weeks of treatment,the observation group had a significant effective rate of 93.33%,and the control group had a significant effective rate of 46.67%,and the difference was statistically significant(P﹤0.05).(5)The VSS score of the observation group was 6.53±3.19 points,and that of the control group was 5.30±3.50 points,the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion: On the basis of conventional treatment,the use of PRP wound injection combined with Shengji Yuhong ointment gauze external application can better stimulate the formation of granulation tissue,shorten the healing time,and will not increase the impact of scar formation after wound healing.It is worth promoting and applying.
