| Malaria is a contagious and deadly disease, and the most common tropical parasitic disease today. It threatens four out of ten people in the world. It is a killer disease, especially in tropical Africa, where 90% of global cases occur. In poor countries in sub-Saharan Africa, malaria kills thousands of people every year. This paper conducts a systematic analysis of the evolution, current situation and impact of malaria prevention and control in Guinea. In the Republic of Guinea, malaria is the leading cause of hospitalization and death, accounting for 40% of the disease.According to data from the National Malaria Control Plan led by the Ministry of Public Health of the Republic of Guinea, there were 1092145 cases of malaria recorded in hospitals in 2010.Thanks to the efforts of the Guinean government, international organizations and the active role of China in medical assistance, the prevention and control of malaria in Guinea are in an advanced state, the prevalence of the country having increased from 44% to 15%in 2016.Overall,they provide quality medical services to the population. It should be pointed out that the distribution of insecticide-treated mosquito nets and domestic spraying have played a decisive role in the control of malaria in Guinea.Despite the efforts of national and international authorities,in Guinea, malaria is a common problem that affects the most vulnerable areas and has a negative impact on the national economy and population health. It weakens the population, exhausts the economic resources of the country and the people, and has a negative impact on the national economy and population health. It must be recognized that malaria is one of the deadliest tropical diseases in the world, mainly affecting poor countries whose per capita income is estimated at $1.Guinea is one of those countries where the human development index is slowly improving, and the health system is malfunctioning. What are the delays and weaknesses associated with Guinea’s fight against malaria? Why did some countries like China and Algeria successfully fight malaria on their own territory, but Guinea did not? These are the questions I will find political and systematic answers in this summary. In this master’s thesis,I will focus on the failures and weaknesses of Guinea’s international health assistance for malaria control. The eradication of malaria requires joint action and concerted action among different partners working in the health field. This article finally analyzes the international health assistance in the field of malaria and its related weaknesses, and proposes countermeasures to improve the Malaria prevention and control system in Guinea. As the WHO said at the Berlin conference in 2018,"In order to make development possible, eradicate poverty, promote a peaceful society where everyone has a place, and protect the environment, people must be healthy. However, despite the great progress made in the fight against several viruses that cause death and disease,if If we want to eliminate health-threatening diseases,we must redouble our efforts."... |
