Objective:To observe the effect of "Tongdu Xingshen" acupuncture combined with cognitive training on Post-stroke mild cognitive impairment patients. We want to evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of this therapeutic schedule, and obtain the evidence-based medicine evidence of the improvement of cognitive rehabilitation program of traditional Chinese medicine in patients with mild cognitive impairment after stroke.Method:All patients are from the First Teaching Hospital of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from June 2020 to January 2021.This study adopts randomized-block design to divide patients who accorded with the inclusion and exclusion criteria into the trial group and the control group. The two groups of patients received initial treatment of cerebrovascular disease and cognitive rehabilitation training. The trial group was combined with "Tongdu Xingshen" acupuncture method in additional. The treatment period of both groups was 4 weeks. We used 4 cognitive assessment scales to measure the patients in pretherapy and post-treatment.The cognitive assessment scales includes Mini-Mental State Examination,Montreal Cognitive Assessment,Auditory Verbal Learning Test-Huashan version and Wechsler Memory Scale Logical memory Test. All data were assessed and analyzed by SPSS 26.0.Result:1.General information: Before treatment, there was no significant difference in gender, age, standard of culture, the type of stroke,MMSE scores before treatment,MoCA scores before treatment,AVLT-H immediate recall and delayed recall scores before treatment,as well as immediate recall and delayed recall scores of logical memory test between the two groups(P>0.05),indicating comparability between the two groups.2.Cognitive function: Comparing with the scores before treatment, the MMSE scores and the Moca scores of the two groups of patients were improved after treatment(P<0.05).Meanwhile,the trial group was superior to the control group in improving cognitive impairment, and the two sets of data between a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).3.Memory: The scores of immediate memory and delayed memory of AVLT-H and logical memory test were compared between the two groups after the treatment, and the scores were all improved compared with those before the treatment. After treatment, the scores of AVLT-H immediate memory and delayed memory in the trail group were superior to those in the control group(P<0.05),indicating that the trail group was better than the control group on improving impaired memory.4.About safety, only an occasional slight subcutaneous bleeding caused by acupuncture in the trail group, and there is no significant adverse reactions occurred in the treatment of patients in the two groups. Conclusion:The "Tongdu Xingshen" acupuncture combined with cognitive rehabilitation treatment protocols is superior to the treatment of cognitive rehabilitation training being applied independent on improving cognitive impairment and impaired memory, and the treatment protocols are safe and effective.
