Clinical Efficacy Of Self-Made Xiao Feng Zhi Yang Decoction On Chronic Urticaria (Insecurity Of Defense External) In Children

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of self-made Xiaofeng Zhiyang decoction on chronic urticaria(insecurity of defense external)in children,following the theoretical basis of traditional Chinese medicine.Methods:A total of sixty-three children with chronic urticaria(insecurity of defense external)who met the inclusion criteria were selected and randomly divided into a experimental group of 32 cases and a control group of 31 cases.The experimental group cases were treated with Xiaofeng Zhiyang decoction,while the control group cases were given by clarityne(loratadine syrup).The course of treatment was 14 days.All patients were recorded the main symptom score and secondary symptom score pretherapy and post-treatment.And the patients’ adverse reactions during the treatment was recorded.The therapeutic effect was analyzed after 14 days,that in order to evaluate the clinical efficacy of Xiaofeng Zhiyang Decoction.After treatment,the children were followed up for 3 month to compare the recurrence rate.Results:1.In terms of main symptom score changes,after treatment,the scores of all patients decreased,P < 0.05,prompt that both groups can significantly improve the number of wind masses and the degree of itching in children.Compared with the control group,P < 0.05,here was a significant difference between the two groups.2.In terms of secondary symptoms score,P<0.05,indicated that the experimental group could significantly improve the secondary symptoms of children.The comparison within the control group,P<0.05,indicating that the control group could not significantly improve the secondary symptoms.3.After the treatment,the main symptom score change was used as the criterion for evaluating the curative effect.The total effective rate of the experimental group was 96.67%,and the total effective rate of the control group was 80%.Comparison between groups P < 0.05,indicated that there was significant difference in the efficacy of the two groups.4.The recurrence rate of the experimental group was 10%,while in the control group recurrence rate was 75%.Comparison between the two groups showed significant difference in the recurrence rate,P < 0.05.Conclusions:1.The efficacy of Xiaofeng Zhiyang decoction in the treatment of children with chronic urticaria(insecurity of defense external)is better than that of the control group.2.Xiaofeng Zhiyang decoction can effectively relieve the symptoms of children with chronic urticaria(insecurity of defense external).3.Xiaofeng Zhiyang decoction can effectively control the recurrence rate of children with chronic urticaria(insecurity of defense external).
