Clinical Observation Of Guwei Yuyin Decoction In The Treatment Of Chronic Urticaria With Insecurity Of The Defensive Exterior

Objective:To observe the clinical curative effect of Guwei Yuyin Decoction in the treatment of chronic urticaria with insecurity of the defensive exterior.Methods:72 patients with chronic urticaria aged between 18 and 65 years old who met the inclusion criteria were selected for the study.Using random number table method,the patients were randomly divided into treatment group(n = 36)and control group(n = 36).The actual number of observed cases was35 cases in each group.The treatment group was treated with Guwei Yuyin Decoction and the control group was treated with Compound Glycyrrhizin Tablets.Both groups were treated for 8 weeks.Before treatment,4 weeks and8 weeks after treatment,the symptoms and signs scores and TCM syndrome scores of urticaria in each group were recorded and counted.The total serum Ig E level and the overall curative effect were evaluated before and after treatment.SPSS 26.0 software was used for statistical analysis of the data.Results:1.The general data(sex,age,course of disease)and observation indexes(symptoms and signs of urticaria,TCM syndrome and serum total Ig E level)were compared between the two groups,all the difference was not statistically significant(all P>0.05).2.Analysis of symptoms and signs of urticaria: After 8 weeks of treatment,the symptoms and signs of urticaria(the number of wheals,the degree of itching,the distribution of wheals,the size of wheals,the frequency of attacks,and the duration)were improved in both groups.After 4 and 8weeks of treatment,the improvement of urticaria symptoms and signs of Guwei Yuyin Decoction was better than that of Compound Glycyrrhizin Tablets.All the difference was statistically significant(all P<0.05).3.Analysis of TCM syndromes: After 8 weeks of treatment,the TCM syndromes(aversion to wind,spontaneous sweating and fear of cold)were improved in both groups.After 4 and 8 weeks of treatment,the improvement of TCM syndrome of Guwei Yuyin Decoction was better than that of Compound Glycyrrhizin Tablets.All the difference was statistically significant(all P<0.05).4.Analysis of serum total Ig E levels: After treatment,the serum total Ig E level decreased in both groups,and the decrease of serum total Ig E level of Guwei Yuyin Decoction was better than that of compound glycyrrhizin tablets.All the difference was statistically significant(all P<0.05).5.Overall curative effect analysis: After treatment,the total effective rate was 91.43% in the treatment group and 74.29% in the control group.The overall curative effect of Guwei Yuyin Decoction was better than that of the Compound Glycyrrhizin Tablet.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Guwei Yuyin Decoction can effectively improve the symptoms and signs of chronic urticaria(insecurity of the defensive exterior)patients such as wind mass,itching and related TCM syndromes,reduce the content of serum total Ig E,and the curative effect is better than that of Compound Glycyrrhizin Tablets.2.Guwei Yuyin Decoction in the treatment of chronic urticaria(insecurity of the defensive exterior)has obvious advantages of traditional Chinese medicine,obvious curative effect and safe application,so it is worthy of further clinical application.
