Objective1.Understanding the status of disease awareness,self-management and quality of life in children with asthma.2.Discuss the effect of nursing intervention of Information-Motivation-Behavioral skills model on improving self-management and quality of life in children with asthma and the effect of this model on knowledge mastery, drug inhalation technique, asthma control and pulmonary function in children with asthma.3.Through this study,we can improve the knowledge of asthma children’s disease, improve their self-management ability and quality of life, and provide theoretical basis and reference basis for clinical nursing practice of asthma children.Methods76 cases of children with asthma diagnosed by pediatric outpatient clinic in January 2020to September and voluntarily participated in the study were selected in a third Class A Hospital of Inner Mongolia Autonomous region.According to the order of visits, the subjects were randomly divided into control group and intervention group,38 cases each, the number of sets was control group and the even number was intervention group.Control group was given routine nursing measures for children with asthma, the intervention group implemented IMB model nursing intervention measures. This study lasted for three months, asthma knowledge questionnaire,self-management scale, quality of life scale, asthma control test were distributed to asthmatic children before intervention, one month after intervention and three months after intervention, drug inhalation techniques and pulmonary function were operated by researchers.Analyze and process the data, input and use SPSS 25.0.Results1.Of the 76 asthma children included in this study,4 were out of imitation, the effective sample size was 72,and the loss rate was 5%.2.General data characteristics:72 children with asthma,47 boys(65.3%),25 girls(34.7%);7~11,Average age(8.78±1.57)years;The educational level of the subjects was98.6%in primary schools;Asthma children live mainly in urban areas, accounting for 98.6%;The primary caregivers are relatively literate,The proportion of high school and college education is 87.5%.3.Intervention results of inhalation technique score in children with asthma:After 1month of intervention and 3 months after the two groups of asthma children inhaled technical scores, the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05).Analysis of variance of repeated measurements showed that there was an interaction effect between the scores of inhalation techniques and time between the two groups(p<0.05).4.Intervention results of children asthma control test score:After 1 month of intervention and 3 months after the two groups of asthma children control test scores were statistically significant(p<0.05).Analysis of variance of repeated measurements showed that there was interaction effect between asthma control test and time between the two groups(p<0.05).5.Intervention results of knowledge mastery in children with asthma:After 1 month of intervention and 3 months after the two groups of asthma children knowledge mastery score comparison, the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05).Analysis of variance of repeated measurement showed that there was interaction effect between knowledge mastery score and time between the two groups(p<0.05).6.Interventions for self-management in children with asthma:There was no significant difference in self-management scores between the two groups after 1 month of intervention(p>0.05),and there was significant difference after 3 months of intervention(p<0.05).Analysis of variance of repeated measurements showed that there was interaction effect between self-management score and time(p<0.05).7.Intervention results of quality of life in children with asthma:There was no significant difference in quality of life between the two groups after 1 month of intervention(p>0.05),and the score of quality of life after 3 months of intervention was statistically significant(p<0.05).Analysis of variance of repeated measurements showed that there was interaction effect between quality of life score and time between the two groups(p<0.05).8.The results of pulmonary function intervention in children with asthma:There was no significant difference in FEV1%between the two groups after 1 month of intervention(p?0.05),but the FEV1%of the intervention group after 3 months were significantly higher than those of the control group(p?0.05).Analysis of variance of repeated measurements showed that there was no interaction between time and time between the two groups(p?0.05).ConclusionAsthma children’s knowledge mastery,self-management and quality of life level is low, this study based on the IMB model for asthma children to carry out personalized self-management intervention,to provide children with self-management knowledge, motivation and skills,so as to improve the self-management ability and quality of life of asthma children,so as to play a positive role in asthma knowledge, drug inhalation technology, asthma control test monitoring improvement.
