Analysis Of The Efficacy Of Epilepsy Prevention And Management Project In Ningxia From 2015 To 2018

Objective Analysis of curative effect of drug in patients with epilepsy in the prevention and management project in Ningxia from 2015 to 2018,provide the reference basis for the treatment of seizures in patients with convulsive epilepsy.Methods Collected clinical data(Number of annual seizures,dose of medication,age of first onset,course of illness)on 150 patients with epilepsy who were admitted to the Ningxia Epilepsy Prevention and Management Project in2015 and followed up on the project for 3 years.Retrospective analysis of the efficacy of the three treatment options of PB、VPA and PB+VPA.Results A total of 150 cases of epilepsy,95 cases of male and 55 cases of female,and gender ratio of 1.80:1 were screened.Among them,84 patients were treated with PB,36 patients treated with VPA,and 30 patients treated with two drugs combined.PB group patients were followed up for 12 m,24 m,36 m when no attack patients there were 24 cases(28.6%),42 cases(50%)and 54 cases(64.3%),the total effective rate was 50.0%,65.5% and 86.9% respectively;VPA group patients were followed up for 12 m,24 m,36 m when no attack patients there were 11 cases(30.6%),16 cases(44.4%)and 16 cases(44.4%),the total effective rate was 63.9%,72.2% and 75% respectively;PB+V PA group patients were followed up for 12 m,24 m,36 m when no attack patients there were 8 cases(26.7%),11 cases 36.7%)and 10 cases(33.3%),the total effective rate was 56.7%,66.7% and 63.3% respectively.Conclusion 1." phenobarbital," " sodium valproate " and " phenobarbital +sodium valproate " three kinds of treatment of 36 m overall effective rate of 86.9,75 and 63.3.2.Strengthening of grass-roots medical training,supervision,improve the level of grass-roots prevention and treatment of epilepsy,to further standardize the implementation of prevention and management of epilepsy in Ningxia project.
