| Objective:To observation the curative effect of heat sensitive moxibustion combined with added Liu wei di huang decoction on vascular mild cognitive impairment and the effect on the homocysteine level of patients;to study the relationship between level of homocysteine and cognitive function;to discuss the safety of heat sensitive moxibustion combined with added Liu wei di huang decoction and to provide a basis for the treatment of vascular mild cognitive impairment.Method:60 vascular mild cognitive impairment inpatients from department of neurology,Guangzhou hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine,were randomly divided into experimental group and control group,30 cases in each group.The patients in experimental group were treated with basic treatment,Oxiracetam injection,heat sensitive moxibustion combined with added Liu wei di huang decoction for 14 days.And then the patients were treated with basic treatment,heat sensitive moxibustion combined with added Liu wei di huang decoction for 14 days;Similarly,the patients in control group were treated with basic treatment and Oxiracetam injection for 14 days.And then they were only treated with basic treatment for 14 days.And using the Mini-Mental State Examination,the score of deficiency syndrome of kidney essence in SDSVD,changes in homocysteine level to evaluate of curative effect and discuss the relationship between Hcy level and cognitive function.Result:(1)Comparison of baseline data: there was no significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in the terms of age,sex,and education befor the treatment(P> 0.05),and the two groups were comparable.(2)There was no significant difference in MMSE,SDSVD scores and homocysteine levels between the experimental group and the control group before treatment(P> 0.05),which was comparable;After treatment,the MMSE and scores of the two groups increased,and the level of plasma homocysteine and the scores of SDSVD decreased,and the difference was statistically significant(P< 0.05).(3)No adverse reaction was found after treatment.Conclusion:(1)The treatment of heat sensitive moxibustion combined with added Liu wei di huang decoction can improve the cognitive function of patients with vascular mild cognitive impairment(VaMCI),and has high safety.It is worthy of clinical application.(2)The treatment of heat sensitive moxibustion combined with added Liu wei di huang decoction can reduce the level of plasma homocysteine in patients with vascular mild cognitive impairment(VaMCI).(3)The cognitive function of VaMCI patients was improved when the level of plasma homocysteine decreased.It further indicated that the level of Hcy was positively correlated with the degree of cognitive dysfunction. |
