| Calcaneal fracture is a common injury of the foot.In the type of tarsal bone fracture, this type of fracture is about 3/5,and its pathogenesis includes: 1.The effect of vertical action on the bone and the force on the bone caused the injury.2.Direct impact from external forces. The common fracture is in the posterior tuberosity of the bone.3.The soft tissue that adheres to the tubercle of the bone leads to a bone fracture. For calcaneal fractures, the treatment is divided into two categories: surgical treatment and conservative treatment(non-surgical treatment)according to the type of fracture, severity of fracture and the patient’s need for function. With the development of the present operation and the imaging technology, patients’ pain with calcaneal fractures can be alleviated.Anatomy characteristic of the heel bone and surrounding tissue is complicated, and there are various types of bone fractures, and patients with calcaneal fractures often have some postoperative complications, all of these oseriously affect the patient’s quality of life, the poor quality of life is unsatisfacted. These complications include: surgical reduction and internal fixation, necrosis or infection of local skin, injury of the sural nerve, and injury of fibula and short tendons; And the complications that can occur in the later stages are mainly from arthritis.ObjectiveFound through the literature, both at home and abroad there are lots of calcaneal fractures analysis based on the full functional score to determine the efficacy of operation, the curative effect of surgery plays a role in the occurrence of complications, such as traumatic sex arthritis, skin necrosis, but there is no research report about factors which can influence postoperative quality of life in patients with calcaneal fractures. This paper aims to analyse factors which influence the quality of life of patients who suffer from calcaneal fracture,to improve the quality of life of patients and guide them abot postoperative long-term life.MethodsAccording to the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria, screen patients for data collection through the cases of hospital system, make follow-up measures of patients with surgical treatment of calcaneal fractures in our hospital from 2011 to 2015.Obtains the age, sex, fracture type, operation time, the effect of intra-articular reset, partial weight bearing time, smoking history and other datas, fill the related scales, use statistical methods to analyze that how the various factors on the patients with fracture influence the quality of life.ResultsMultiple linear regressions was carried out with SF-36 scale score of physiological health, psychological health, the comprehensive quality of life score as the dependent variable, with age, sex, fracture type, operation time, postoperative Bohler(Angle)quality of intra-articular reset, full weight-bearing time, smoking history, with or without internal eight factors as independent variables. The results showed that there was a significant correlation between fracture type, postoperative Bohler’s angle and patients’ physical health, mental health and comprehensive quality of life.ConclusionIn this study,we found that the long-term quality of life of patients with intra-articular fracture reduction and internal fixation was mainly related to the type of bone fracture, and postoperative Bohler angle. That is to say:The lighter conditons of fracture and better fracture reduction result in better mental health, physical health, and better quality of life. |
