Research On The Prescription And Medication Rule Of Professor Xiaogang Wan Using Sini Powder Based On Data Mining Technology

ObjectiveProfessor Xiaogang Wan is good at using classic prescriptions and the clinical effects are remarkable.The purpose of this research is to summarize Professor Xiaogang Wan’s academic experience of using Sini Powder based on the data mining technology for the inheritance and exchange of academic experience in the future.MethodsThe first part of this paper discusses the herbs,compatibility,efficacy,origin,and the present application of Sini Powder.In the second part,Professor Xiaogang Wan’s 200 cases of using Sini Powder in the outpatient and endocrinology ward of the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from September 2016 to December 2020 were selected as the research object.First of all,collect basic information such as the patient’s gender and age,as well as diagnosis and treatment information such as diagnosis,symptoms,signs,tongue and pulse conditions,and herb prescriptions.Secondly,unify and standardize professional terminology.Thirdly,integrate the information obtained into the Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Auxiliary Platform to establish medical record database of the Sini Powder.The data mining methods such as frequency statistics,cluster analysis,and association analysis are used for the knowledge discovery.Then based on the results,the characteristics of prescriptions and syndromes are summarized,the specific application of Sini Powder in clinical efficacy by combining the prescription and disease syndrome is discussed,and the medication rules and academic experience of Professor Xiaogang Wan using Sini Powder is explored.ResultsBy analyzing the mechanism and clinical application of the herbs and prescriptions,it is concluded that the essence of Sini Powder lies in regulating qi,clearing Yang and relieving depression.Ascending the lucid yang and descending the turbid yin is the way of regulating qi and relieving depression.Dispersing knots,relieving cough,assisting sleep,relieving pain,promoting diuresis,defecating and harmonizing blood is the form of expression.As for nourishing yin and promoting fluid,astringing yin and softening liver,it is not only the condition and basis of regulating qi and relieving depression,but also the result of regulating qi and blood.Using data mining technology to explore the knowledge of Professor Xiaogang Wan using Sini Powder,it is found that women and young people were the main groups applying Sini Powder.Professor Wan used Sini Powder to treat thyroid diseases and diabetes,followed by digestive diseases,gynecological diseases and the neurology diseases.The main symptoms were chills,cold limbs,dry mouth,bitter mouth,restless sleep at night,thick neck,bloating,stomachache,and low menstrual flow.The more frequent tongue color was red,reddish,and pale,and the tongue coating was mainly white.The pulse was most string-like pulse,thin pulse,and deep pulse.The five flavors of the herbs were mainly bitter,spicy,sweet and sour,and the warm and cold were basically the same in the four properties of herbs.In 47 cases,Sini Powder was individually used as the base prescription,herbs for clearing away heat and toxic substances,relieving and dispelling stagnation,removing blood stasis,as well as nourishing yin and clearing heat were used at the same time.In a total of 153 cases,Sini Powder was used in combination with 47 other prescriptions.Erchen Decoction and Siwu Decoction were most commonly used.The rest cases are conducted from the regulation of liver,spleen,heart,kidney,regulating qi and blood phlegm,exterior and interior double solution,harmonize yin and yang,cold and heat as well as other aspects of the syndrome.It is concluded by the characteristics of disease and medication that Professor Xiaogang Wan focuses on the pathogenesis of qi depression and the location of liver and gallbladder diseases,taking into account the changes of deficiency and excess,cold and heat,qi,blood and phlegm when using Sini Powder.In terms of treatment,Professor Wan made full use of the efficacy of Sini Powder,and through addition and subtraction,he realized the clinical value of dispersing knots,relieving thirst,harmonizing blood and removing stasis,assisting sleep,harmonizing the middle jiao,controlling acid and relieving pain,diuresis and removing water,and regulating stool.ConclusionFollowing the original intention of treating qi depression from Zhongjing Zhang,Professor Xiaogang Wan acquired the therapeutic method with syndrome according to the obstruction of phlegm and blood stasis and the change of deficiency and excess of cold and heat.Sini Powder was used to treat qi,blood and phlegm with the idea of "regulating qi not far from the liver","regulating phlegm and qi","treating qi and blood simultaneously".Professor Wan combined the disease,syndrome and symptom,focusing on the pathogenesis of qi depression and the location of liver and gallbladder disease,so as to add or subtract herbs.Combining the classical prescriptions,the prescriptions that have prevailed since the Song and Yuan Dynasties or self-made prescriptions,Professor Wan made full use of the different active parts and manifestations of the qi-regulating effect of Sini Powder,and it was flexibly compatible to achieve the goal of strengthening the target curative effect and generating new effects,so as to maximize the clinical value of Sini Powder.
