ObjectiveThe purpose of this study was to observe and compare the efficacy of double Lumbar acupuncture in treating the third lumbar Vertebra Transverse Process Syndrome(TLTPS)with conventional acupuncture in a randomized controlled trial. It provides objective basis for the treatment of transverse process syndrome of the third lumbar spine by using mountain burning acupuncture technique, and promotes the clinical application of this treatment plan.MethodSelection in November 2020 to November 2021 in XX hospital inpatient, outpatient and up to the standard of diagnosis and included in this study,80 patients were randomly assigned to treatment group(mountain burning acupuncture)and control group(conventional acupuncture),40 cases in each group, two groups of treatment 1 times a day,10 days as a complete course,Rest for 1day before the next course of treatment, two courses of treatment.VAS(Visual Analogue Scale,VAS)score and JOA(Japanese Orthopaedic Association Scores,JOA)score of lumbar function assessment index before and after treatment were recorded in 2groups to evaluate the clinical efficacy of two different acupuncture schemes for the treatment of the third lumbar transverse process syndrome.Result1.Comparison of VAS pain score:(1)comparison within the group:the VAS pain score of the two groups after treatment was significantly lower than that before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.001);(2)Comparison between groups: after treatment, the VAS pain score of the treatment group(mountain burning acupuncture)was significantly lower than that of the control group(conventional acupuncture),with significant difference(P< 0.001).2.JOA score comparison:(1)intra group comparison: the JOA scores of the two groups after treatment were significantly higher than those before treatment, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.001);(2)Comparison between groups: after treatment, the JOA score of the treatment group(mountain burning acupuncture)was significantly higher than that of the control group(conventional acupuncture),with significant difference(P<0.05).3.Clinical efficacy: the specific results showed that in the treatment group(mountain burning acupuncture),13 cases were cured,10 cases were markedly effective,15 cases were effective and 2 cases were ineffective. The overall effective rate was 95%.In the control group(conventional acupuncture),7 cases were cured,9 cases were markedly effective,15 cases were effective and 9 cases were ineffective. The overall effective rate was 77.5%.The overall effective rate of the treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion1.Good clinical efficacy has been achieved in the treatment of transverse process syndrome of the third lumbar spine by mountain burning acupuncture manipulation and conventional acupuncture. The two treatment schemes are effective in improving the indicators of the syndrome.2.The clinical efficacy of mountain burning acupuncture in the treatment of this disease is obviously better than conventional acupuncture, which can make patients get better treatment effect, and is worthy of extensive clinical application.
